I was thinking about these threads last night while driving. I was listening to my Incubus SCIENCE CD and since there is also an Incubus thread I was thinking about how that CD blows Nickelback out of the water yet Nickelback probably sells more CD's. What is wrong with people?

I hate that stupid, I think its a credit card commercial, where the two guys have nose bleed concert seats and they walk around stealing other peoples seats......and the whole time Nickelcrap is playing in the background.

I think Nickelback might have set Canada/US relations back at least a good decade..

They just had to top us, we threw at the world Creed and they raised us with Nickelback, well played Canada..

That's one of the funniest things I've seen in a while. I've never liked Creed at all, but I'll have to say I guess I'm in the minority in that I don't mind Nickelback all that much (at least their rediculous songs are good for a laugh every now and then). With that in mind, I guess not too many of VN will be showing up for their concert in Nashville tonight?

IMO the music put out today is way over produced. Music in general and rock music in particular is supposed to be raw and full of emotion, just not the same these days. Listen to the old stuff and for all the imperfections the music simply has much more feeling and emotion in it. Maybe I'm way off base or just old, I don't know.

you are spot on. i mean, when bands like coldplay are considered "rock" bands, there is something seriously wrong with the system.
