I think he's done well knowing when to force the action and when to let it come to him. Also thought for a while he needed a shooting game that sticks out to him, so hopefully Sat was it. His penetration will only be more affective if teams have to respect his outside shot cause he's already popped 2-3 on em.He also needs to be more assertive on the offensive end.
Agree with the recency bias, but other Vol players are getting better looks due to defenders keying on Knecht. This currently doesn’t happen with Mashack. I’m one of the biggest Mashack cheerleaders on here, but I know that Knecht’s offensive potential is way higher. Mashack is playing great, earning and receiving more PT. Maybe taking a few minutes from 3-4 guys for more Mashack might be the better choice? Gainey is in a slump, but I’d hate to quit playing him any as he’ll likely be needed before the season’s done. JMOKnecht. He is better at every phase of the game except shooting and he's even doing that better recently.
I was wondering if that was the one. Over the last few weeks, you can make a case for that. Teams continue to go at Knecht on the defensive end and have some level of success. Not sure if the ankle is still bothering Knecht, he is having a hard time scoring. Teams are bodying him up to take away his 3 and recently, he is struggling mightily to get to and score at the rim.Knecht. There is room for both to play well and get plenty of minutes. That's what neeeds to happen. Kneght has been struggling. I hope to see something good from him tonight.Agree with the recency bias, but other Vol players are getting better looks due to defenders keying on Knecht. Please don't compare Knecht with Key.I was wondering if that was the one. Over the last few weeks, you can make a case for that. Just like Key last year, Knecht had a lot of offensive success early but struggled to adapt when teams got a good scout on him. Hope Knecht can make the needed adjustments. We need the Chapel Hill Knecht.
