Milton was Milton. UGA didn’t have to blitz and Milton couldn’t make decisions. He refuses to take off and run to get the 3-7 yards when nothing is open. That was the difference with him and Hooker. Milton is only successful at those passes under 10 yards really. Our WRs aren’t good enough to make the great plays on the tough throws or the 50/50 balls.

It's a bigger benefit to Nico to have a redshirt than it is to throw the ball 5 times against UGA when you are already down 28.

Nico should be great, but a lot of QBs don't pan out as quickly as fans would like. He could need that Redshirt even if he's not at UT when he's using it.

That’s fair. Milton wasn’t ever going to be as good as Hooker. Wrs have been very inconsistent. Last years offense this year would’ve been in the playoffs though as well. We’re still so thin on talent at several positions.

Which is even more perplexing that he didn’t get in the game tonight or against Mizzou when it was clear we weren’t going to score any more points with Milton in the game.

Nico won't be here 6 seasons, if he is as advertised, maybe 3 at the most, if not as advertised, it's on Heupel for not playing him after the Florida debacle and getting the experience necessary to be ready in 2024

He has played in three games and can play in four and still redshirt. According to the announcers today, the bowl game doesn’t count in the 4-game limit, so he can indeed redshirt even if he takes every snap next week.

I doubt we see him against Vandy. They will be run heavy and unless they break off big runs like last year, I think we see a low scoring game. Maybe a 17-10 win.

we are starting to remind me of my precious 94 yr old mama. We say and discuss the same points over and over. Maybe the only difference…she usually makes sense and is extremely sweet! On another note…man we got a lot of injuries.

Who knows? I mean I wouldn’t have expected a lot of time going into the season if I was Nico. But seeing how the season has played out and the inept play of our QB1 this season would change that with any competitor worth his salt.

I say this as a believer in CJH’s offense. But watching this play out this season is maddening. At least give the kid more snaps so he can be ready (with a depleted line, no less).

I don't think he starts Vandy, but I hope he starts the bowl game. Let Joe "prepare for the draft" and bring Nico in.
