Nico "I Love Road Games More Than Home Games..."

I’m hoping to see Nico throw more contested deep balls like he did with Thornton last week on the 73 yard TD. Let our big receivers fight for it a little.
Exactly! Take some shots at least and let these guys go up and get it. If it’s one thing Tennessee has had its people that can make a contested catch and the worst thing that can happen is a PI going our way or an incompletion. Picks rarely happen on those plays and I’ll take that without the misery of the dink and dump which will not work against Georgia

I hope he’s ready to go. We need everyone to bring their A game. Nico will need help - he needs great execution on both blocking and running pass routes. If he doesn’t have time or receivers can’t get open then we’ll be very one dimensional and have a hard time scoring. Last time we went to Athens we scored a late TD to make the score look more respectable but they throttled our offense all game. If we have no passing game it will be a repeat.

wasn't the case in Fayetteville...HOPEFULLY will be the case THIS WEEK in Athens...

GO BIG ORANGE!

I hope all our players like playing road games. They are the toughest to win and maybe we have a good chance to win if they do. Score first and get the crowd out of the game and we will be OK

If our Oline does a better job than it did in Fayetteville, we’ll be fine. Kirby has the same plan as he did with hooker; DBs will do whatever they need to up to drawing PI flags early to be able to get pressure and hit Nico to see how he handles it.

You mean Kirby will tell them to HOLD on every play just as they are taught? Hold 100% of the time, since it won't get called but 20% of the time. Great strategy if you have no scruples or respect for the game.

They will definitely be more physical early at the LOS. If our WRs play like pansies getting off the line they won’t get open and Nico will get killed.

That no-show at Arkansas just made things so much more difficult on ourselves in making the playoffs. If we were undefeated going into this weekend, a loss to Georgia probably doesn’t knock us out of the playoffs. If we do drop the game, there’s a better than average chance that we get left out, even at 10-2.

Just win.

... we also haven't played on the road since then either.
I'm not sure we've improved since Arky to be honest. Nico has improved. But we've taken a step back on defense, since Pili got hurt and overall as a team, we are just beat up right now. This GA game could not have come at a worse time on the schedule. I know Beck has been struggling but GA has shown that when they put it all together, they are very hard to beat. Couple that with GA's backs against the wall for playoff contention, them playing at home at night in front of a hostile crowd, the possibility of our starting QB not playing, and Huepel's known struggles in road games, it's a recipe for disaster for us.
