If I was a Defensive Coordinator against Tennessee, I would do a few things.
Since Nico is a RS Freshman and has very little experience, the first thing I would do is stunt, blitz and run zone blitz on the Dline confuse the protection and where Nico thinks pressure is coming from.
Second: shift the DBs from press to off coverage, inside leverage to outside to man up. Disguise the safety. The WR option route makes TN hard to play. If the option has to change a second before the snap OR after the snap, getting the receiver and QB on the same page is tough.
If Nico and the receivers can get on the same page early, Nico has a great shot of being in the Heisman race.
