Nico is awesome but…

Dylan Sampson deserves the heisman talk atm. His stats are ridiculous given how many snaps he’s played. Nico will have plenty opportunity to add his name in the conversation. But let’s get D Samps name in the conversation.
Agreed he is the workhorse of the team. But man.. the RB out at Boise is running away with the stats atm. That dude is wild.

Really the only other rb to compare samp to at this point in the season for sure. Dude is elite but if d samp can stay in a reasonable range of yardage and TDs, gotta give the edge to him based on schedule alone. (Not to this point as Boise has played Oregon obviously but at the end of the season)

Yeah Ashton Jeanty is a heckuva RB. Boise State had Oregon on the ropes but they gave up 2 return TD’s. I’d consider this an early season Heisman opportunity for Sampson and Nico.

Quinn Ewers got hurt today, Carson Beck was 🫤 Cam Ward is probably the front runner right now after 3 games but things change awfully quickly in college 🏈

Give DS6 the Doak Walker Award for sure. 🆔 say that he Heistman is Nico's to lose. That would be crazy to go along with a recent Biletnikoff Award winner (Hyatt). And we're snatching the top o-linemen too. Yikes for everyone else.

You are way too premature to say that the Heisman is Nico’s to lose at this point.

I gave you a "like" but, lets not get overly excited. Gonna need to wait til we see him (and for that matter, NI) up against the big boys before making these type of predictions.

Although I agree with the sentiment...how 'bout we COMPLETELY FORGET about a politically manipulated and HISTORICALLY "Disrespectful to Tennessee" mantel adornment and just
"WHIP EVERYBODY"S #&@%ING AZZ"!!!!
Post of the year!^^^^^^^^

Just win the damn games, that's all. Let all the personal accomplishments take care of themselves.

Why do people think he's never going to have a bad throw....his ability to brush off a bad play and make a great one is what makes him special

I think he will be the best QB Tennessee has had when dust settles but he isn't a Heisman level candidate this year nor should we expect him to be. The other great QBs have more experience. We will see.

Dylan Thompson is a beast. Nico can be the candidate next year.

How bout the team just concentrates on winning the next game and then the next and then the next, etc. Only relevant award is the National Championship trophy.
But we are not on the team.

We don’t play for the team.

We don’t have to focus on those things. We are on the forum to discuss players, the school, potential, etc.

I’ve never understood the “let’s focus on the next game.”

Brother we aren’t on the team. What we talk about affects nothing. Unless you’re some fool on Twitter insulting players.
