Nico's QBR Lowest in SEC?

the long and short of it is this: for us to beat Bama Nico must hit the open receivers. If not Bama is good enough to put 6-7 in the box and stop our running game.

That stat is reflective of the offensive line and a young QB with no confidence in it. Not on his ability. A healthy and decent on-line and his qbr would look entirely different.

Well we all hope so. Maybe the light will come on. He just seems to be a mediocre QB at this point. We had better hope our running back doesnt get hurt or it could get ugly.

By far the worst offense of Heupel’s tenure. Nico’s development was hindered because (1) Heupel refused the play him much last season, (2) weak opponents the first 3 games of the season, (3) below average offensive line and (4) Elarbee & company poor recruiting and development of offensive linemen.

The mental gymnastics many of you will participate in to avoid the facts that Nico has been BAD. Just watch with your eyes and you’ll see Nico has been disappointing. It doesn’t mean he can’t get better. It doesn’t mean I don’t bleed orange. It doesn’t mean he’s a bust. It just means he’s been bad! GBO

Yeah, that view unfortunately caters to the hope near and dear to many fans' hearts, i.e., that their team is actually awesome and there is an easy tactical fix, rather than some harder to change structural personnel problem.

Yep. Has the O-line played bad at times? Most definitely. Has Nico performed when they hold up on their end? Not at all. Hoping he gets it together sooner than later.

At some point we need to start looking at this as a blackmark on heupel and a potential reason he ends up fired.

Not developing qb's. 4 years and the only qb that has been able to run his system effectively wasn't his recruit and he only started him because the starter that was underperforming got injured.

It’s absolutely a huge black mark on Heupel. Nico was his guy. The guy he went ALL in for. The guy that was created in a lab to run Heupels offense at the highest level. And look at him. He looks lost. Moore? Lost.

Its this on top of Heupel refusing to bench him that is making me start to turn on him. Nick Saban sat Milroe and Hurts when the were messing up and it made both of them better in the long run. Meanwhile Huepel keeps trotting nico out there and now we've been shutout out 3 straights games for the first time since the ****ing 60s.

There is no back up to come in. We are stuck with what we have. More QB in the pipelines

I knew this would happen with that damn schedule!!! Yeah feed UT-Chattanooga and Kent State to inflate those numbers and pump that sunshine to playoff heights!! Disgusting 🤮
