I saw on one of the weird eating shows one time a man in the US was using a remote controlled boat to carry his bait and drop it near a spillway on a river, he caught lots of big catfish!
I fished on a pier one time in Florida, I was about 12 or 13 and this Hispanic guy hopped in a rubber boat and paddles his hair like a 1/2 mile out ! I heard he actually caught a hammerhead that night, I missed it.
