That's my biggest takeaway from LaVar running his mouth. There might be guys ready to take a night off in December, January and they see that Lonzo is playing that night and want to crush him. His dad is giving him a huge bullseye and veterans will welcome the chance to embarrass him. He's going to get everyone's best shot night in and night out.

I agree, he's not making the transition from college to NBA easy on his kid. Plus his other 2 will get seriously harassed by fans at the HS and college level. Can you imagine if ucla has to go to Duke this year, that kid may cry before his night is over

They used to be really tough on players back in the 80's and 90's. They've eased up quite a bit lately. When I was a ball boy in the early 90's I remember picking rubbers up off the floor when a player who had been accused of sexual assault was introduced during the starting lineups. Another time an NC State player who was busted for stealing a stereo was introduced and the Cameron Crazies threw records and cassette tapes on the floor. Probably one of the funniest things they ever did was chant "Have You driven a Ford lately?" at former Tar Heel Jeff McInnis as he was shooting free throws. It was widely speculated that McInnis had screwed UNC assistant coach Phil Ford's wife.They used to be pretty creative and funny, now the administration won't even let them chant "Go To Hell Carolina".

Mid-range jumper is the worst shot on the floor. His basketball IQ is part of the allure. Inconsistent 3 point shooting? He made two 3's per night on 41% shooting. 67% is not terrible. That's a good ROI. Fox will be hitting mid-range jumpers at 40%. That's a bad ROI.

I tend to like the hated and so I am a casual Duke fan. Nobody gets it worse on the road than Duke. It's so awesome. My favorite is when JJ Redick was there and the opposing fans focused all of their rage on him for 40 minutes and he didn't GAF. He'd drop 28.

I know Ball is going to end up with the Lakers which really makes me cringe. I have cheered for them since '82 when they had Magic, Kareem, Wilkes, Nixon, McAdoo, Cooper, Rambis etc... Daddy will be front and center.

Agree 100%.... Kobe would be schooling Lonzo while talking **** to his dad who's watching on the sideline. Hell I bet he'd call MJ to come out and play a little 2 on 2

Agree somewhat...Colin let Kristine handle her business, which she did very well to the point where Ball was too big a pu$$y to look the little blonde girl in the eye while talking down to her.

Colin is an unapologetic contrarian, so his lack of response didn't bother me. He did call out Ball a couple times on the $3B asking price and other foolishness. But yeah...Colin has been slurping Lavar Ball for the most part.
