The federal representatives (both house and senate) are selected on an all votes are equal basis. The only election where this is not the case is with presidential elections. If the electoral college is to ensure that populace states do not have excessive power over less populace states, why is the same not true for populace counties not having excessive power over less populace counties? Why would that be ruled unconstitutional?
Says we should listen to the Trump accusers. Over/under on her being ousted? I'm setting it at 1/6/18.
Nikki Haley, Mike Pompeo and Jared Kushner... just let those names sink in.Nikki Haley schemed with Ivanka and Jared to try and become Vice President instead of Pence, Mike Pompeo claims in new book
Nikki Haley allegedly schemed with Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner to be Donald Trump's vice president instead of Mike Pence, a new book excerpt revealed on Thursday.
Mike Pompeo, the former Trump administration Secretary of State who's generated his own White House buzz for 2024, accused Haley of trying to 'undermine' the work officials were doing to improve the country.
It's an especially loaded jab considering Haley herself has hinted she's at least considering a bid for the Republican presidential nomination.
In an excerpt from his forthcoming memoir obtained by The Guardian, Pompeo claimed Haley swindled herself into a four-way meeting with Trump along with his daughter and son-in-law - who were senior White House advisers at the time.
Then-Chief of Staff John Kelly allegedly believed she would be coming to meet with Trump alone. Pompeo described him as irate at how it panned out.

I don’t think so.
I respect that he withstood the pressure by the Trumpians to complete the coup. His mannerisms are beyond insufferable.
I'm curious what your objection is. Is it to one or both and what's it based on? It's possible either one of them has supporting something that would be a deal breaker for me, but off the top of my head I can't name it. I just like how Pence carries himself relative to the last 2 we've had in office.
I don't think Haley will ever garner much more than 2-3% again. I believe that ship has sailed for her.For me both are too far out on the Bush/Romney/Graham wing of the political spectrum, too entrenched with the political establishment to effect any real changes. Don't get me wrong, either would be much better than the last 3 we had but I don't think either would be much different than Bush II. I want change, I don't know who that candidate would be but I'm pretty confident Haley or Pence isn't it.
