Yeah..I think some of yall are missing the point. Haley is saying victims of sexual abuse should be heard. No one is saying "let's suppress that!!".

However we should not jump to conclusions without any tangible proof.

When they speak up they are heard. To continually drag out their story with ZERO evidence promotes victim culture.

What would you say constitutes sufficient evidence of a non consensual assault?

Hypothetically, how does a female provide evidence that a man grabbed her pvssy?

If a man admits it and a woman claims it - is that promotion of a victim culture?

They should be believed if a Republican has been accused.

Is that because the dems admit their mistakes and bow out?

I guess the left is not only carrying the torch of morality but that of personal responsibility as well.

At least the right will have the fiscal conservatism to fall back on. :birgits_giggle:

1) Film.

2) Olfactory evidence on the man's hand.

3) Who can say?

The Dems admit their mistakes, and bow out when the seat is safe for another Dem. Same thing with the Repubs. I will believe that Franken is gone when Franken is actually gone.

I predict that if Moore wins, Franken says he will leave when Moore leaves, or if they both face the ethics panel .

I don't believed anyone suggested that.

Haley said she was "incredibly proud of the women who have come forward."
"I'm proud of their strength," she added. "I'm proud of their courage. And I think that the idea that this is happening, I think it will start to bring a conscience to the situation, not just in politics, but in, you know, we've seen in Hollywood and in every industry. And I think the time has come."

That's not the language of someone with much doubt about the veracity of the claims.

I see what you're getting out now. You're right...

My guess is that knowing Donald personally, she knows where she wants to be when history judges.

"History judges" will depend upon who writes the history. The people who write it are just as biased as everyone else.

Right now, chicks who've had their beavs grabbed are writing history.

Men in powerful places don't seem to be exempt, in fact - I'd wager that there are a whole bunch of millionaires and billionaires that are waking up every night in a cold sweat wondering if today is when the shoe drops.

No. That could be considered proof. Unfortunately you're still misquoting Trump.

One of the "accusers" said "Trump looked at me like a piece of meat"..like..that is her "assault". Guess what ladies? Every heterosexual male does that. Next time you hold the door open for a woman do you think she might accuse you of something?....

The burden of proof always falls on the accuser. That is how our law system is set up. The constitution talks about it..

Men in powerful positions are always the target. There's little to be gained by going after poor house Joe Schmoe. If they are waking up in a cold sweat it's likely in fear of themselves being the target of the next crazed Twitter witch hunt.

One of these accusers is simply saying that Donald Trump walked in on her while she was changing her clothes during a Miss Teen USA pageant. That is conduct which Trump himself admitted to while on The Howard Stern Show. An audio recording of that interview is available on youtube. Should she be believed? Of course, she should! It's completely consistent with what Trump confessed to and it definitely is a form of sexual harassment. Trump told Stern that it was okay for him to walk in on the contestants while they were naked because he owned the pageant. They were teenagers. That is totally creepy old guy behavior.
