That would possibly set up the Brewers v Cards.

Would pay money too see them go at it. Be a freakin battle.

The thought of the Cards in the NLCS makes me wanna throw up.

If for whatever reason it ends up being the Cardinals and Yankees, I probably won't even watch the World Series. I didn't watch the Cardinals and Red Sox either. Although, I dislike the Red Sox more than the Yankees.

The worst part is, I would actually want the Yankees win if it came down to that. Cardinals are my least favorite team. Followed by the Cubs and Red Sox. Yanks aren't far behind

I'm sure I'd hate the Phillies if I were you since you're a Braves fan. I used to pretty much hate them too but then they added Oswalt and Pence. I still like both and it's hard for me to root against them. Roy O is probably my fav. pitcher of all time. Definitely my fav. pitcher for the Astros(not old enough for Nolan Ryan). I'd like to see Oswalt win a World Series

Is pulling for the Cardinals that much better for you though? I think I'd hate them too if I were you since they kept the Braves out of the postseason. I mean, the Braves have no one to blame but themselves with their collapse but I still wouldn't be happy with the team that got in over them

Cards, at the end, were a much better team. I put no blame on them. When we got swept by them at the first of Sept. it felt like the tide had turned. Like you said the Braves have no one to blame but them damn selves.

I still aint over the Astros beating the Braves in 2005 playoffs. 18 innings. Damn, I was sooo drunk when that game finally ended.

Braves lead to drinking!

Win or lose on Friday, I'm proud of the way these guys have acquitted themselves. They should be proud.

With that in mind, I think Phillies fans are terrible, and they do not deserve to have a winning team. In fact, I feel that way about all fans of all Philadelphia teams.

Amen to that.

Agreed. Philly fans are quickly turning into boston fans...classless with a sense of entitlement.

Halladay finally gets out of the inning. That was brutal... 33 pitches

Go Cards. I've had enough of Philly fans for a while, although the NHL season has just started and Eagles fans are already irritating me even though their team sucks...

This would be a good time for Carp to throw a complete game shut out.

Left a man on 2nd but at least they were able to run up Carpenter's pitch count a bit

Halladay 41 pitches
Carpenter 29 pitches

Hopefully Halladay can have another 8 pitch inning. That first inning sucked
