Liberty will eventually end up in a major conference. Too much money there to stay a mid major forever.
Doubtful.

They're in a small TV market that's in nowhere Virginia. They have a stadium that seats about 25k. Liberty has a long way to go to be worth the kind of money it takes to be attractive to a real conference.

Auburn is 10x the job Ole Miss is. Kiffin could win a title at Auburn. He won’t even win the West at Ole Miss.

Ole Miss has way better than resources than Auburn. Better recruiting, stadium, players, not near Alabama. Definitely a better job than Auburn
Crazy talk. All those “way better” resources, recruiting, etc (doubt) yield absolutely nothing for Ole Miss. Meanwhile, since 2000 Auburn has won the west 8 times, the SEC 3 times, two undefeated seasons and a Natty. There is no comparison between those 2 programs. Auburn will win the SEC again before Ole Miss wins the west.

Edit: Disregard . Excellent trolling attempt got me.

Auburn has too much politics right now....... Kiffin has the easiest job in the SEC right now. Given the easiness of the Portal, Kiffin doesn't have to worry about a disadvantage with recruiting either.

Auburn is basically in the same spot Tennessee was in Butch's last year. Anyone taking that job with this current state of admin is dead man walking on arrival.

The obvious downside for Kiffin is if he keeps winning 9-10 games per season Ole Miss, that expectations get higher and we've seen SEC fan bases get a taste of taking next step only to get rabid when it doesn't sustain.

Deion has ZERO love for Auburn, dating back to his playing days. He ain't going there.

EDIT: Money talks and Prime loves $$$$. But I don't see him at Auburn. He wants to be "the Man," and no Auburn coach will ever be that in the state of Alabama.

He’s a heck of a HC, whether you like it or not.

The auburn guys I talked to were excited by the idea of Deion or Hugh Freeze.

They cooled off some when kiffin was mentioned.

I really don't think they want anybody from the Saban tree

If I was aTm or Auburn, I’d have been chatting up Freeze a long time ago. Can’t believe he hasn’t been picked up yet, and now he’s got this monster buyout.

That and prolly they don’t want it public that an Ole Miss head coach would turn down the Auburn job. Lol

You think Sanders feels like the man at JSU? You don’t think he’d love the chance to recruit in the SEC with his name? Challenge Saban and make a lot more money? Trust me, he would take it in a heartbeat.
And BTW - guys his age don’t care about teams they hated when they were playing.
