They aren't close. There isn't one player on this roster that's as good as C.J. Watson, Chris Lofton, or JaJuan Smith.

McRae and Hall are the only ones WITH A CHANCE to be as good as them, and that chance is less than 3%.

Had Pearl not been fired, our program would have been annihilated by the NCAA. So, it appears you're the one that's wrong.

I am not wrong about anything. He had been fired several months ago but kept hearing negative predictions from several posters since the firing, you included. What was your prediction on sanctions again?

No need to be defensive about your opinions. No one cares if they're not always informed

Most every one expected a possible loss of one scholarship. Almost no one expected a post season ban, although that was a possibility. No one knew that UT had self-imposed sanctions on the entire athletic department with recruiting sanctions for both football and basketball. Had that information been forthcoming, most all predictions would have been different. No need to try to gloat on anyone's predictions.

I apologize if it sounded that way because it wasn't my intention to gloat. I expected a loss of a scholly as well.

According to the NCAA just an hour ago, Pearl, Hamilton and Kiffin no longer being at TN had nothing to do with this ruling. Or were they lying too?

Some interesting Rucker tweets:

wesrucker247 Wes Rucker

NCAA COI vice-chair: Pearl, Hamilton, Kiffin no longer being at Tennessee didn't matter in this ruling. BS. At least try to be honest.

You'll have to convince me the NCAA COI didn't just lie while punishing someone for lying.

NCAA: There wasn't sufficient evidence. Media: Then why did you charge them? NCAA: Because we can. Kiss our tailpipe.

If you charge someone with a major crime and you can't prove it, you should have to explain why the hell you charged them.

If you can't defend what you did, I'm going to call it what it is: indefensible. Explain the misunderstanding or publicly apologize.
