No Shave November

What do you guys do for a living where you cannot shave for months, fur trappers?

l come from a long line of frontiersmen and outdoor types.

I like my beard, and others do too...but Mrs. Salutethehill doesn't. She doesn't dislike the way it looks, it's just "rough and scratchy". And I like Mrs. Salutethehill, and I like to "cuddle" with Mrs. Salutethehill...so I shave.

I'm an engineer and I keep a beard pretty much year round. I trim it up every month or so and keep my neck shaved.

I work with an older dude who looks like a biker santa clause. Long hair and a beard down almost to his belt. I couldn't let my beard get that long. It would drive me nuts.

I'm in! Shaved Friday and will not for rest of month. Plus, deer season is coming up and it's customary for me to grow a beard for deer camp.

I grow mine out for hunting season too. I keep a goatee year round, but start the full beard the 1st day of small game season in August and don't touch it except slight evening out till season ends in February. I am considering going year round this time.
