Watching Arkansas play East Texas A&M (formerly Texas A&M Commerce)

Their opponent is awful but wow, Arkansas when from one of the most athletic teams in the conference to the most unathletic in one season. They look like a mid-major. None of their guards are quick, nobody is in shape.

As an aside, it’s elementary school day at Arkansas. That arena sounds like the 7th pit of hell. I love kids, but wow lol. Yikes.

The exodus was telling. A lot of talent was wasted at Arkansas. Hard to understand the AD watching the destruction of the program without filling out a pink slip this offseason. Mizzou coach was saved when her AD left for Arizona, he was going to fire her if she missed the tourney, which of course she did. The new AD will do the deed after this season.

Last bit on info from the SC site WBB writer on his top predictions for the team this year and outlook. Schedule is maybe the most brutal ever put together, not sure if that was smart but it will make for an entertaining season.

South Carolina will lose a regular season game for the first time since 2021
“Why: The schedule is incredibly top-heavy. South Carolina plays the preseason no. 2, no. 4 (twice), no. 5, no. 7, no. 8, no. 9, no. 10, and no. 11. At some point they’ll slip up.”

Probably more than a few times this year tbh with that schedule. Dawn bit off a huge bite there, more than any current team could possibly swallow imo.

Gule, in the rundown for each team in that preview I would say the writer knew the least about the LV team, so not much depth on the review. A lot of the country is currently in the dark about what is brewing in Knoxville. I gave my prediction a week ago that I believe the LV’s finish around 3-4 in the conference, and I might be selling them short.

I’m posting this to show how a player can have bad shooting mechanics, and the coaches throughout their entire career have never fixed it. Like I said before they don’t fix anything if the players successful at shooting that way. You can literally make it to the NBA with bad shooting mechanics, I hope people understand the issue now. And notice how they just keep passing him the ball and they do nothing.

I’m glad Kamera is getting some more airtime. I haven’t seen her on non-lady vol broadcasts that I can remember before. Good for her!

Man, your newfound ability to diss and disparage every single team, player, and coach in the world that is not an LV is effing incredible.

Vandy is obviously much better and much more athletic than they were last year.

Az coach is safe beyond this year. Same for UNC coach because of her recruiting prowess, look at their recent pickups. Agree on the others. CJT at aTm has been a miserable failure there and as for Ark and Mizzou, I’ve made my thoughts clear there, both should have been released after last season.
