At least not since Gail G departed. They had some very efficient and lethal offensive teams in her time. That 06’ championship game team could put the ball in the hoop.

McCallie’s offense was always anemic, relying too heaving on one scorer most seasons. Kara just has no half court offense at all and has shown no ability to develop one. Their transition offense lacks a lot to be desired as well, they try to do it all off the dribble with one player forcing the issue instead of getting payers ahead and using the pass.

Their guards are killing them smoking wide open transition layups.

Nope, gonna need a lot of work there. She does have nice footwork in the post but at her size she’s going to have to develop a face up game. Especially if she wants to play pro. At 6’2” she can’t continue to play back to the basket her entire career.

Those last two shots just tell me she’s not in shape yet. This level is so much faster and more intense. She was way short on her Free Throw and that long two/three.

It’s tough lol

Maryland has a couple individual players I enjoy watching but really don’t care for them as a program.

The ACC as a whole is down this season and some of their teams have to be ranked in the Top 25. Stanford could finish in the Top 6 of the making 3s at 40% percentage rate like they currently doing. The ACC doesn't have enough teams that keep up with them offensively.

I didn't think it was Duke's offense that lost them the game today. They scored 80 points and missed a dozen layups.
It was Duke's defense (and foul shooting) that cost them the game.

Watching the SC v NCSt game, I’m glad Tennessee isn’t playing either of them anytime soon. The Lady Vols need way more time to smooth things out. I like the direction we’re headed, but I’m still liking the grace this early schedule has given UT.
