After seeing some of the scores ...... like 60 to 20 !!!! No team in any state gets a lot from playing teams that cannot give them any competition. Sure the stats look good but REALLY! Let’s see them with some cupcakes at the beginning of the season next year . And when the SEC schedule starts .... then we will know for sure what we have ? JMO

UK i don’t know who would transfer... Bfore i might have said Hunt but i think she will stay. The thing for me is the extra year and i think Mckinney and their other senior Wyatt come back. Patterson i dunno if she uses her last year to play somewhere else or with a weaker WNBA draft takes her shot at going pro.

On UK, this was my thinking. Mckinney has said publicly that she'll likely come back for the extra year. I still think Patterson will not be playing ball for us next year whether she goes pro or transfers out. Wyatt and Howard are close, but she has found herself behind the 2 transfers (Owens and Edwards) and even has played less than the freshman Leveretter so I think she will transfer out as well or just graduate. As far as Hunt, the talk is that her and Elzy are pretty close, so my fear of her transferring has pretty much gone away.

I'm still not convinced that Howard won't be playing for one of the normal contenders next year (Louisville, Uconn, South Carolina, or Baylor)... again, just something we're keeping an eye on around these parts.

It didn’t hurt Paige Bueckers team LOL they just have loads of D1 talent and everybody else does not haha...

i think Kaiya Wynn for us will be useful sooner rather than later.

Wynn i think will be the best freshmen. I live in the Greater houston area but i will say there are Different divisions when it comes to Talent. 1A 2A 3A 4A 5A 6A it goes by the size / population of your high school. The toughest of course are the bigger sized schools ala Duncanville , Desoto , Alief schools , Cypress schools in which the ogwumike's and Griner came from. Wynn plays in the 5A category the same as the schools i just mentioned so shes not going up against slouches ill tell you that !

this is the info i wanted to hear from a person in the area😃

i knew she was 5 A and that sometimes they step outside of classifications but with covid i was curious

Yeah wynn is legit , ive yet to see her play due to covid but im glad she will be a LV. She's going up against the best the state has to offer especially if we get a tourney for high school this year ! That will show you what she's made of !

Also remember that talent on Bueckers team is not coming to TN you could see 6-4 Maya Nnaji headed SC ? As for Wynn yes she will play a lot TN

Weathers has been scooring 30 points a game lately! However , they just got beat by Brentwood (Larger School) and Weathers scored 10 points .... just Saying

I don’t know what level Brentwood school is at but I think they won by 10 points ? Not bad for a 1A school verses 4 or 5A ? Karley’s school played close and she still scored double digits! I don’t know details of the game but other posters might ? 🤷‍♂️

The point was playing undermanned teams didn’t hurt their development and they went out and did what they had to do. Nope they aren’t coming to TN and i don’t know what that comment had to do with what i was saying.... Not a jab just not making a connection. In terms of competition at the high school level. Did you miss that part ?

the crazy thing is that team has more than that forward on it that is gonna go D1. Don’t they have a top sophomore too or something ? Sheesh...

Now is the time i wanna see the Nike Tournament with some of these teams/players

They average 45 rebounds per game. Funny how you use Top 15 as the criteria and not Top 20 or Top 25.

I was actually looking forward to the Rutgers vs Indiana matchup but it is PPD.

The women's basketball game on Monday, Jan. 18 between Rutgers and Indiana in Bloomington has been postponed due to continued COVID-19 concern within the Rutgers program. Rutgers' scheduled games with Purdue (Jan. 7), Ohio State (Jan. 10), and Northwestern (Jan. 14) had previously been postponed.

3 of those games are against ranked opponents trying to fit in 4 games is gonna be a killer.

I wonder if Rutgers will pull a UVA/Duke 🤔

Yes i went to the 2019 Nike Tournament in NYC saw Koi Love her team lost to Jada Walker team in the title game who is headed to KY. If Patterson don`t stay she will start at pg she is that good. My brother works for a HS basketball recruiting service they scout girls and boys. He is the one who told my about the Key sisters.
