Arkansas has way more fire power offensively in my opinion. Ive watched South Carolina on multiple occassions struggle on offense. I just think UCONN comes out firing on all cylinders in this game. They need to make a statement after the Arkansas loss.

Yes Arkansas has a lot of fire power offensively but they don`t matchup well against SC. As for UConn they match up well vs SC but it starts with UConn 6-5 ONO if she comes to play they can beat SC. Now if she pulls a no show like she did against Arkansas then they will have problems.

Agreed, ONO will have to defend Boston 1 on 1 and rebound the basketball. If she’s a mental no show like Arkansas or gets in foul trouble they will be in a trouble. Boston has more help in the paint this season as well. Saxton is a great second option inside and does a nice job grabbing the oboard for a stick back or moving into the open space for a layup when Boston is doubled.
SC really only played one big (Boston) last season. I wouldn’t call KiKi a post, she was much more of a mid-rage/perimeter player.
I’m giving this one to SC. I just don’t think UCONN has the size to matchup with them. Betting we will see some zone from UCONN off and on and he may stick Westbrook on Beal and try to have whoever is on Brea shade down to double Boston.
Westbrook is going to have a hard time keeping Cooke/Henderson in front. She struggled with that against Arkansas. Her defensive spacing and timing are wayyyy better since she’s been with Geno but she’s still slowed laterally. She got burned multiple times by Dungee and Daniels.
Not sure who Brea Beal will guard but she could give Bueckers a fit I think. Our length really bothered her and SC can bring the same to the table. She struggled finishing shots against our length, something she didn’t see against Arkansas where she was able to put up 27.
If UCONN tried to zone Arkansas for crying out loud, I would imagine they will throw some zone at South Carolina.
Boston and ONO played pretty close to a draw last season. UCONN needs for something like that to happen again, IMO.
Last year Tamari practically shut down Boston. I think she can again this year
True but at the same time both teams are very athletic on the wing and at the guards position so right there is a draw, The only problem i see with SC is 6-1 G Brea Beal yes she is a big and a very good defender and gets on the glass. But she is not a very good shooter from the outside. I know Dawn wants her to shoot more but at times she refuse to shoot. I think UConn should lay off her and make her shoot the 3.
The LVS will be 1 seed if they can run the table for the remainder of the season. They will be 1 or 2 seed if only 1 loss for remainder of season.Bracketology with Charlie Creme
Still hanging in as a four seed and like that bracket were in would love it to happen. Not that afraid of Louisville as a one seed.
True ! Remember Key stands about 6-7 and long not 6-5 as evryone keep saying. And like i said before and Kellie said after the FL game it`s not easy to shoot over her. But when we play SC i think playing Emily might be a smart move just to keep Key and Kasi fresh and out of foul trouble.
Geno today -- "Our defense is OK. But really not championship worthy defense. Will we get there? I don't know. Maybe. Some years your defense is just ok. Is this one of those years? I don't know" ... "We are just not a good shooting team", ..., "I think the freshmen have played real well. In fact they have given us some of our best minutes. So I'm going to give them all I can." ... " Paige is not a leader right now. She just plays the game. She will be but right now she's not a leader."If UCONN tried to zone Arkansas for crying out loud, I would imagine they will throw some zone at South Carolina.
I know many here think that Emily deserves more playing time, but clearly Coach Harper doesn't.True ! Remember Key stands about 6-7 and long not 6-5 as evryone keep saying.
