Low scoring quarter so far. That UConn freshman guard not names Bueckers looks pretty good.

If Beal is looking for her shot and making them, UConn is screwed.

UCONN pressuring the ball hard out top trying to get them from making the entry pass. Can’t do that all night though. Dawn will adjust.

As we saw on that first bucket, if you get the ball to Boston she’ll score. ONO has no answer for her on either end and Geno knows it. If SC can hit some outside shots and get the paint opened up they’ll be in business.

Both teams need to hit some outside shots. Would like to see SC take a couple 3s instead of trying to penetrate. Someone’s got to open it up for the big girl.

UCONN HAS to hit some threes or this won’t be a game. They’re not going to get much in the paint today.

Arizona defense torched them last time. Oregon has had some offensive woes. No consistent leader this season but a ton of talent. Someone has to step up for them on both ends.

They are absolutely shutting down Williams and Westbrook. This is a bad matchup for Evina. She will get abused by whoever SC brings in at the 4.

The big lineup UConn ended the 2nd half with is their best chance vs. SC. If ONO picks up #4 early in the 3rd, they are screwed.

Agreed. If we continue to trend upward and have one more scorer emerge, (to join Rae, Rennia, and Tamari), I think we could be right in the mix.

SC looks very very beatable. Loosing Harris has really hurt them. Not saying we should win out, but I think we certainly can. Neither Texas A&M or SC look dominant by any means this year.

First time watching more than a few minutes of SC. Their half court offense at least in this game is pretty bad, especially for the #1 team in the country. Beal has been burnt on defense most of the game and doesnt seem to care either. Boston of course is still great, but she looks slow and doesn't even really jump for rebounds. At least not tonight.
