I don't know about some UConn fans but I am tired of hearing so much about her. I indicated that in a thread I posted on the BY. She is one of the best I have ever seen but there comes a time when enough is enough about one player playing in a team game. Like you said, there are so many separate threads about her. Everyone by now knows she is a rare talent and one of the very best but how often do we need to hear it. And no, I don't think it affects the team chemistry in a negative way. If it did, Geno would straighten that out very quickly. Probably, UConn fans are just so glad to have another superstar that they cannot contain themselves. Maybe if I was a much younger person I would not be able to contain my joy either.Doo Wop, what's the feeling of most Boneyard fans re: Bueckers becoming the current "it girl" in wcbb? I noticed on the first page on the BY, about every third thread is about Bueckers. We all agree that she is already an outstanding player (I liken her play to John Stockton's ruthless efficiency as a PG although she carries much more of the scoring load and displays the opposite of his stoic personality).
Any worries from UConn fans that the media exposure might have a negative effect on team chemistry? Or do the older players embrace that as long as she is leading the offense and producing? There doesn't seem to be any danger of the attention going to her head...she seems to be a team-first athlete.
