She might as well have taken a pair of gloves and slapped a duel challenge in front of the whole male population with that statement,

I speak of respect, not equality.
I have fought for the advancement of women's sport, ergo, women for over 40 years and will continue to do so.
Respect is earned or given, never forcefully taken.
And when I read a statement like that all I see is the end challenge and disrespect to the men like me who fight for women.

Emotion is a good passenger, not a good driver.

It virtually erased a perfect eye-opener by Sedona Price and made it into a political soapbox.



I am 1000 behind and in support for equality.

I have never hid who or what I am and never will.
I am strong within my worth and character.
I am 100% behind the advancement of the equality of the sexes...Period.

I don't know who or what you (and your Mikey-like) think I am,,,All I know is I fight my battles with my brain, then my might and lastly my words. And I choose my words as wisely and as thoughtfully as I can. Sometimes they come out wrong, still, I am not perfect like you seem to be.

Sometimes I come across wrong, , , not perfect.But those who know me,personally and the virtually thousands of lives I have influenced over 40 years of coaching exclusively girls/young women,,,They and I, know my true character and it is rarely if ever questioned,,,Surmise me as you wish, I know who I am and what I stand for and do not get my self-worth or self-opinion from anyone but myself and the caring words and evaluations of those I know truly care about me.

What does that have to do with anything? Definitely doesn’t have anything to do with Pat and Geno. Tyler hardly sullied his mother’s reputation. Only his own. Keep that ish up out of here. Will not stand for someone insulting Pat on this board. Period.

Back up! LOL, so you’re putting what Tyler did on his mom? Good Lord and have mercy... So now we are taking into account the issues of a family members to impact someone directly? If that’s the case if someone dug into Geno’s families past should those actions be held against him? LOL, by your logic you should be held responsible for anything your family has done in the past regardless of the standards you held yourself too.

The NCAA is led by a bunch of morons beginning with Mark Emmert and Dan Gavitt! Did they not realize the discrepancies in the men's and women's amenities would be noticed??? From Covid testing, to food, to the gym and the Swag Bags.......???? You have to look at what the NCAA actually does; not what their spokes morons say!!! This isn't going to just go away and I hope people realize that the NCAA is a male dominant bureaucracy much like the 1960's Soviet Union! Unfortunately; it'll be harder to take down the NCAA than it was to break up the Soviet Union!

I'm certain it'll have nothing to do with blatant sexism, but I do hope there's another active FBI investigation of Mark Emmert's cash cow and the more the merrier!!

Well said and very correct. It is the NCAA, not the MNCAA and WNCAA.
It is all-encompassing.

If there is a difference in attendance, support from the public, bosters, etc, that's on us,,but if there is a difference in facilities and equipment and treatment in an event that carries the NCAA title, that's on them. And downright wrong!

It is however undeniable visible proofs and smart reactions that will get their attention, as it did with Sedona's posting....War cries and "I am woman, hear me roar" and threats like the one made by Muffett will set women right back to the beginning each time as men in power will call these rants, instead of truths.... those postings will be seen as emotional outbursts and will not carry the same weight as well thought out visible and written proofs. It never has and it never will. That is all I was trying to say and all I wanted to say.

Women have to treat this as what it is, unfair legalities under Title IX and use this platform to get changes. Not calling out and threatening like Muffett did. All that gets is a deaf ear.

I am just as upset and angry over what that post by Sedona revealed, There is no excuse for the disparity in supplies and accommodations as the tournament is sponsored by NCAA and titled "NCAA",,, not private funding.

I’m already having a hard time deciding which game to watch first. Will probably end up with one on the TV, one on the iPad and one on my phone before the end of today lol

well, I never watch ConU, for starters --- then, watch all my favs - LVs, Belmont, MoSt, IU --- then, never watch 1/16 games, instead focus on 8/9 and 7/10 games --- that should get me through the first round

I never watch UCONN either unless they are playing a team I like. Decided to watch Iowa and Central Michigan first. I think Marquette/Va Tech will be a good game as well though. Just really love the game and would watch every single one of them if I could.

i thought the relevant statement to which you responded was Pat vs Geno. Why are you injecting Tyler into that mix. I could understand your reply if whacko neurotic “Ally”, she of self absorbed Twitter land and only a UConn employee because of Geno, had been mentioned but she wasn’t.
