Non-Lady Vol Basketball News 2023-24

There are 3 different finishes in layups,,,the power layup, the short drive and the full-court full speed layup...all 3 have different mechanics,, yet I see the same finishes in them consistently

this from the guy who self promotes non stop...not to mention the erratic BS if you take the time to review his back posts which are all 100% contradictory on all levels. So, ok. Gather the grains of salt beforehand....and when you retort CJ, look at your crazy sideways and contradictory posts on Miles as an example...I can repost all. You full of shat.

is this supposed to make sense?

Exactly wat I said after watching S.C team. Dawn is just lucky with great players coming around her.

Not a SC fan but you can give credit where credits due you think ?

For a team that lives partially by the three point shot Maryland went 5 for 22 and their number one player Reese off the bench usually someone that gives them a boost went 0 for 6. Teams don't pick a certain time to have their worst game of the season sometimes they just happen.

That and the nation's top outside shooter had a poor shooting night.

I'll root for Vince to make the final four he has the far less talented team and that has been the case in the last couple of games at least. The Texas perimeter players can make some threes they have a shot. He has brought the team a long way since the season began. They got squashed by West Virginia and couple other average teams here they are one game away from the final four.

When did she do that???? Once she started landing them she has been winning.....What year did she win without one?

The very first one in 2013-14 - went 29-5 and 14-2 in the SEC to win the regular-season title:

Alieghsa Welch: '11 #88 - 4* (#26 F)
Tiffany Mitchell: -12 #46 - 4* (#15 G) - won SEC POTY
Khadijah Sessions: '12 #40 - 4* (#7 PG)
Asia Dozier: '12 #89 - 4* (#33 G)
Alaina Coates: '13 #28 - 4* (#4 Post) - SEC co-6th POTY
Tiffany Davis: '12 NR - 3* (#31 PG)
Elem Ibiam: '11 NR - 3* (#15 P)
Tina Roy: '11 NR - 3* (#52 G)
Sanchion White: '11 NR G
Olivia Gaines: '13 NR JUCO G
LeAnna Morrison: '13 NR G (walk-on)
India Farmer: '13 NR F (walk-on)
Wilka Montout: '12 NR JUCO F

The first one...I think 2013 or 14. Coates' freshman year.

She didn't have any top 25 players and signed 2 freshmen AAs (Cuevas and Coates). Mitchell was SECPOY that year.

Cuevas-Moore was a part of the 2014 class with A'ja Wilson and Jatari White that was rated #2 nationally by ESPN. She came after the 2013-14 season when SC won their first regular-season title. Coates was part of the 2013 class, so she was a freshman on that team....

wow she might be in the portal this week

She did put her in a couple of times and she didn’t bring any energy. She missed 5 layups and took an ill advised 3 when she was cold right off the bench. Only played 9 minutes and was 0-6. She came back out because she wasn’t the player they needed shooting the ball.

Let's see now. You're the same guy who said this back in in January: "They will get blown out by UCONN! Blown out!"

And then had nothing at all to say after the game when Conn had to pull out the win in the final minute.

You also plugged Walz, Lawson, Schaeffer, basically anybody but Harper. Except you didn't want Moore for some reason despite his experience and success. You indicated that you want a "rockstar coach."

Please explain your intricate plan to force Tennessee to spend almost $2 million per year to hire said "rock star."

My plan would have been to pay what it took to get the best coach. A coach who had a history of winning and had been to the final 4. A coach who could recruit the best. Kellie has done none of that. She just hasn’t. I was pleasantly surprised by the UCONN result, but did we win??? No one cares about close loses. It’s about wins!
