She did put her in a couple of times and she didn’t bring any energy. She missed 5 layups and took an ill advised 3 when she was cold right off the bench. Only played 9 minutes and was 0-6. She came back out because she wasn’t the player they needed shooting the ball.
Ideally, yes. I think in the end, Kellie will be fine as long as she picks up her recruiting. She is definitely a more capable court coach than Holly, but nowhere close in recruiting. The class of '22 and '23 will be make or break for her once the last of Holly's recruits leave. My plan would have been to pay what it took to get the best coach. A coach who had a history of winning and had been to the final 4. A coach who could recruit the best. Kellie has done none of that. She just hasn’t. I was pleasantly surprised by the UCONN result, but did we win??? No one cares about close loses. It’s about wins!
Your point?Texas gives up a little over 62 points per game while SC gives up slightly over 53 points.
She also Beat IU and SC who are still playing. Guess that detail didn’t fit your narrative. My plan would have been to pay what it took to get the best coach.
