because the refs will cater to Geno in Uconn.
It has nothing to do with conspiracies at all but I expect you to think otherwise!

These wasn't called as fouls by the way! I guess this is a conspiracy too!

Hate to tell you, but if refs cater to Geno that's a conspiracy. How do they get all refs to go along with it? Like most 'conspiracies" if they involve more than two people they would not be a secret. Some ref somewhere would have a sense of fairness plus want to be the guy that blew the whistle on the plot to cater to Geno. What it is is incompetence, and to a degree that's alarming.

We've seen a ref thrown out a league who admitted to fixing games haven't we? It was just reported a coached called the referee office to get a sense of how his team can not foul so much? Yet his team played very similar the first time we played. UConn remaining in the Top 10 shows how often Geno is catered to but I expect you to continue your rhetoric. I'll be a conspiracy theorist if that's what you want to call me.

But how is Geno, or anyone, catered to without it being a "conspiracy"? All the refs just do it independently? I honestly don't understand how you can say it's intentional bias toward anyone and not have it be a plan, if you like that word better.

Either way you want to justify it, it's fine with me.

When you consistently believe your team is always getting bad calls and that the opponent is not, then you believe there is a bias against you team. Call it what you like, plan, conspiracy, no matter. Btw, I pointed out the LV’s have taken 428 free throws to their opponents 299, so
Maybe it’s just fan emotions and seems that way?

Did that ref impact a UT game? Did the Ark coach do something illegal that influenced the refs to favor the Hawgs? Do the refs pick the rankings of WBB? Deflection tactics do not help your cause, there is NO ongoing conspiracy to hold down the UT team, it just feels that way to a die hard fan, which is understandable, we all feel that way sometimes even though most know it’s not real.

Big players always catch more crap in games. They are highly visible and anything and everything they do is noticed. That call on Key on the Ramirez drive was laughable as she clearly blocked the shot cleaning and any minimal contact was instigated by Ramirez, but she got the call and won't be the last time the Ref misses one this badly.

TK had two of those last night. Was the same thing with Spencer when she missed the two free throws. Tamari blocked her clean with zero body contact. Spencer was out of control and her forward motion slammed into TK AFTER the block. The officials have to quit biting on that.

It’s a known tactic for undersized players to throw themselves into larger defenders. Should not be rewarded.

Not going to quit something she will just and has learned to live with. Refs going to keep calling it for the little people. Didn't even contest three or four plays last night trying to stay in the game after the third foul. Picked up the fourth but managed to finish.

I doubt anyone would argue with you ref bigs in general, but are you saying the refs treat Key differently than other bigs in general or just that Key is like most bigs in that they get called for fouls against smaller players too often?
I can get on board with the thought that in general, across all games, bigs can be given early whistles when they come in contact with smaller players, sure. But not if someone thinks their big is unique to this.

Maybe its you wanting to be what we are that keeps you and your coach worried about what we're doing. How's your forum over there? Now that's me being emotional. But to answer your question about us and our 428 fouls, the team who rebounds the most is likely to get additional foul calls especially if they are always on the offensive glass (we average 17 of them a game) And ironically yall average 16 a game and only have19 fewer foul calls than us. Could that be attributed to us having 64 more rebounds than y'all or could that be attributed to your coach working the refs and they swallow their whistle to ensure a key player doesn't pick up a foul in a key moment of the game. I'll let you decide which plan, conspiracy or what ever you'd like to call it. But I see your coach arguing/chewing out the refs far more often than I see my coach doing it. And her doing it dates back to her Temple days btw. Were you a SC fan then?

It really is all in the eye of the beholder as far as referee perceptions go. However, if the 6'1" frosh Morrow is "beating the crap out of" (your words) your 6'5" Junior center then Ono clearly isn't a top flite 5.

That "frosh" is averaging a double double against everyone. But by beating the crap out of her I meant that she was getting away with being very physical and not gettting called for fouling.

Not sure what "top flite 5" is.

You didn't need my words for you to belittle ONO. And she is a senior.

Nice post.

I never belittled Ono, I think she is a very good player, she gets too much bad fan reactions in spite of being as good as she is. She is a player.

Why shouldn't they be in the top 10?

The refs, the press, who else is in on it? All the other coaches who have them in the Top 10 in the Coaches Poll? The players parents that let them go to UConn, the players themselves who go to such a horrible place with a horrible person as a coach?

How about the NCAA committee who has them at 11? 11 is ok with yout?

How about Massey? They have them 9th. Did they rig the computer?

You got me? A HC who argues calls is a bad coach? And which is it, you get fouled
More as a team because you are so good at rebounding or your players get called for more fouls (they do not) because the refs are biased against UT?

I expect this from a Rutgers fan disguised as a UConn one!

But lets see. Oregon beat Uconn right but yet they are ranked 19th, GT also beat UConn and they are ranked 12th, Neither school even with injuries and their own covid issues took a month off because they didn't have the right amount of players to play and then cancel a game against a team he knew would possibly be a loss. In any year where UConn is stacked is Geno cancelling the SC game or is he playing it looking to secure the Top seed in the tournament?

Computers being used to calculate rankings is the same as recruiting services ranking players they don't get out to see, so miss me with that! NC has been in the top 5 of the Net Rankings and that's laughable.

For you to even ask why they shouldn't be in the Top 10 further proves my point.

Your pics literally prove nothing outside of portraying a coach who works hard each game to speak up for their team. I mean what are you trying to say? What is the conspiracy you think you are revealing here? I'm excited to learn from you of some factual bias against UT and or cheating by other coaches as you imply, this should be rich.
No more pics as proofs please...without context a pic is just a pic. but you knew that already.

What's understood doesn't need to be said! Have a great day!

Ahh, the "its understood" argument. Btw, are you saying CKH never talks to the refs during a game or "just a little" so it doesn't count? And does that imply you wished she did more or less of that? Is it the number of times a coach does so that you are keyed in on? If so, how many times a game is the acceptable number you had in mind? Should the game keep stats on the number of times a coach speaks to the refs? Maybe penalize a team when the coach goes over? Is that the argument here?

Because, tbh, outside of a few pics of a coach on the sidelines talking to refs during random games doesn't prove squat. And you haven't shown any proof at all of the bias against UT to be brutally honest, just a bunch of fan emotions playing out in public and without substance. We are all waiting on your proof . I will only respond to you if you raise a valid, logical and proven (no emotional feelings please) point. Otherwise, I'm not feeding the deflection attempts any more.

Most bigs in general. I dislike how the big women are officiated as whole in the SEC. Especially on the road.

For me it’s mostly about their long term health and ability to play. All the lower back pushing and shoving teams get away with on players like Key, Boston etc is extremely hard on them. No surprise so many of them end up with bad back issues and other problems.

Yeah, that you hate UConn.

Did you really just say UConn cancelled the South Carolina game?

So many made up things in your post.

It wasn't a month. Last game played was 12/19/21. Next game played was 1/9/22. Three weeks.

The first of the three games against Marquette was postponed by the Golden Eagles. They had the Covid issues.

The other two, Georgetown and Villanova, were postponed because of Covid issues in the UConn program. I believe injuries also put UConn under the allowable number of players available.

There have literaly been hundreds of games postponed or cancelled due to Covid but UConn is lying about it so they don't lose a game?
