Always keeping the low level competition in mind but Bama is good. So clear they've played together for a long time and have several weapons. SAB, Nye, Zaay Green, Essence Cody and her backup Cunningham all looked good.I also liked their freshman Lester. Don't know if they'll crack the top tier this year but Curry has assembled a good roster and definitely moved them a step forward.

Watched some of the So Car game. Joyce Edwards, damn, that's a full grown up woman right there. It's like she's been playing at this level all her life. What a talent.

Chloe Kitts seems like she's really taken off, seems alot stronger.

Don't know how you keep Fulwiley off the floor. They have an embarrassment of riches. They are a more fun team to watch without KC's sheer size dominating.

Lee is a monster. Will just never be healthy enough in the knees. Truly a talent though. If she had different knees she would be a crazy problem

Two good(ish) games coming up: UConn vs No Car at 6 tonight on ESPN2 and KY vs Louisville at 6 tomorrow on one of the ESPNs. Hard to find good competitive games right now and not sure UConn/NC will be one. But worth a watch.

Action picks up some next weekend w Notre Dame vs USC on Saturday and So Car vs UCLA on Sunday.

In the what in the world was Neighbors thinking dept, Arky plays UCLA this Sunday evening. Yikes on bikes.

We feel your pain. For a solid year gamecock fans had to endure Boston's tears after missing the put back against Stanford.

After that we were subjected to months of Clark daring Raven to take a three.

Yes and I thought she looked like a freshman. Certainly not “generational” or any of the other words I’ve seen thrown around. Her defense is poor, she is ultra athletic with really nice finishing ability around the rim. Dawn will make her a superb player but she isn’t there yet.

In those games the freshman who really impressed me was Syla Swords. She is all gas, no breaks and no fear. Does not play like a freshman. My only concern for her is the fast, outstretched way she plays off one foot. Really looks like an ACL waiting to happen.

Gardner Webb at future opponent Richmond on ESPN plus at 11 am EST. May watch a few minutes to see what Richmond looks like currently they are 3 and 0 have played no major teams.

Their offense jacks up a ton of threes, but they are shooting the 3 poorly early so far. They can score, but I believe their early ranking at #10ish is too high even with the addition of Beers. They feel like a 4th-5th place SEC team. In the games where they are hitting threes, and they brought back everyone from last years squad that was pretty good at three point shooting, in those games with Beers added now they will be a hard team to beat.
