No. Should be able to transfer freely since she has not transferred before.

I’m actually wondering what happens with Powell next season. She’s a nice player but she never found her footing this year. She either double down and gets better or transfers.

If Walker were to come I think she would be the starting PG or at the very least play a ton of minutes. Would push Powell to be better also. Walkers big jump this season had a lot to do with Powell and competition. She leveled up her game or she wasn’t going to get the minutes she had been.

For the record, if you care about being right or wrong about any of this your priorities are totally upside down.

I deal with real problems that really matter all day long, every day. This is an escapism from reality. I could care less about being right, wrong, liked, hated or otherwise on here.

If your life outside of VolNation is so meaningless that this is the only place you draw worth, I feel sorry for you.

In state college basketball news
S/O to:

UTC and Tennessee Tech for clinching and NCAA TOURNAMENT births and SoCon/OVC Championships as a 3 seeds

The University of the Cumberlands for making the Sweet 16 of NAIA National Tournament (yes a Kentucky school but almost completely comprised of TN student athletes)

And ofc TN and MTSU for securing At-Large Bids for the NCAA TORNEY

Also good luck to the Ladies playing in the State Tournament being held this week at MTSU

For the record, you were only wrong by 3 points and that game could have gone either way at the end. UNLV will be gone by the second round of the NCAA tournament if they are lucky enough to get past the first round and yet they continue to be ranked in the top 25. There is no way they are getting a 6 seed or better.

I'm actually kinda surprised Lawson isn't on there. Schaefer definitely shouldn't be on there. If you include him, you might as well include Harper.

Same here. Or Jennie Baranczyk, she has Oklahoma at 24-5 after they have been a dumpster fire for a decade. Really not sure what Schafer did to make that list lol. Baffling.

Let me answer this, since I asked the same the other day and was promptly informed it has to do with the many conferences who haven't had their tournies yet. They clearly need to step their schedules up and get with the program but til then the brackets have to wait. I'm glad Selection is Sunday night, seems like it use to be Monday night.

I think KJH is looking for a bigger pg Walker is not bad but maybe to small for her system i think. I know Powell is small to. But having two under 5-7 5-8 might be a problem defending against teams like LSU GA SC Uconn ect. I;m just throwing this out i could be wrong.

I want a small one. I’ve been saying for a while I’d like a Shannon Bobbitt 2.0. Here is our chance….

With all the other size we have we are gonna have to have someone small and speedy who can check quick guards.

Our foot speed might be our biggest issue next season.

I do think we need a couple 5’10”-6’ guards who can shoot out of the portal. I’d look mid-major for those like ole miss did. We have lots of forwards coming back, especially if Marta returns.

Unless they predict Miles to make a huge jump I still think we are deficient at PG and am not willing to put all our eggs in Powells basket at this point. She is a solid player but didn’t settle in this season.
