Tennis Has doctor's at events
Basketball could have at least a good RN Nurse there
Q

There should be a physician with a team at these events. No reason not to have it for situations just like that.

Athletic trainers are great, but they are not equipped to deal with things like that.

Go news for her.

Of course there are physicians at these events. When Jordy dislocated her elbow at Alabama, Christy Curry had their team physician at her side within seconds of seeing it.

It was the EMT response that was ridiculous, as was whoever let Poa get up.

I was already side eyeing LSU after watching Angel Reese hop around on one foot a couple of days ago when she rolled her ankle. The mismanagement with Poa was horrific though. I talk with my partner about how there are certain moves/hires the Lady Vols program could make that would make it hard for me to support them— that medical mismanagement is a good example. Most of these players won’t go pro, so limiting the amount of damage they do to their bodies is so critical for healthy aging.

Dramatic effect, and the staff knew it. Angel said herself after the game it was no big deal, said she rolls it all the time. Of course now poor Angel playing on a broken ankle is a major theme of the coverage.

Aaliyah Edwards took an elbow to the nose in the third quarter today and was down on the floor for about 2 minutes. She left a puddle on blood on the floor, and when she came back from the locker room she had a splint on her nose. She may have broken it again, and if she can't come back tomorrow UConn will be down to 7 overall players. The same Providence player knocked KK Arnold down also, as she was down for about a minute. The officiating is so bad, not only making bad calls, but allowing a game to get out of control. Players should be thrown out when if they go too far, a two shot technical is not enough to solve this problem. Weaker teams do this when they play better teams, thinking that it will level the playing field. They seem to be right if the officials don't do anything about it except offer free throws.
UConn is now down 6 players with 3 of them starters and a 4th their 6th man. They have one player on the bench, a freshman, and two players that average only a minute or two per game.

So, down to seven available?
I think 7 is the # available if Edwards is out.
2 seniors, 3 true freshmen, 1 redshirt freshman and 1 player added last year only because they needed bodies with all the injuries.
On edit:
After looking at their roster, they have only 1 player over 6' tall available if Edwards can't play.
