The reports that KY has interviewed the VaTech coach twice is interesting. He seems a really solid coach particularly with only solid talent. Would be a surprisingly good hire.

Really don’t even understand why Paige was selected first team. They don’t play anyone except out of nonconference, and the big teams they did play, they lost most of them.

Also to reply off of this, Rickea Jackson was snubbed from getting All American selection, and we played the toughest schedule in the country!

Oh I’m confident in our women. 1-1 rn already. Auburn missed too many free throws and layups. I think our women (SEC) will show well.

I’m not shocked by the men at all

Obviously, you haven't seen her play this year. She is better this year than she was as a freshman when she was national player of the year. She has had to take on a new role, basically playing the 4 spot at 6', nurturing a lineup with two freshmen and two more freshmen coming off the bench. She still leads the team in steals and blocked shots, while shooting about 55% from the floor. She is averaging 21 points a game, and averages 9 less shots a game than CC. Not comparing her to CC, just saying she could average more if she shot more. That is something Geno has told her all year, and even Dawn said she loves her game and should shoot more. This has nothing to do with RJ, but of course UConn bias means their players will never get any credit on this forum.

It will be interesting if this is the hire. It's going to take some $$$, and KY already has a huge payout owed to Kyra looming. I'd think they are going to need some resources to get Brooks.

I wouldn't say Paige isn't deserving because I believe she is. But I equally believe Rickea is, and I don't understand why she was snubbed. She has led Tennessee all season and scores 20-30 points a game.

Not to mention the $30 million they're going to owe Calipari if they ever want to win another NCAA tournament game.
