I LOVE her game. I think she should be the #1 draft pick honestly. She is the most intense, best passer/scorer Pg in the ncaa right now. So fun to watch. She will make some team in the W very good.

Geno got em fired up finally. They were on pace to get embarrassed. Gottlieb can’t coach so UConn probably wins this one. Fun while it lasted though.

Maintain this is not a top 10 UConn team. They have a top 10 coach but this roster ain’t it.

Why doesn’t UConn ever get called for leaving their hand on the ball handler? Everyone else gets a hot stove touch and that’s it. UConn gets to arm bar the ball handler at will with no call. It’s consistent game to game as well.

If we had our hands on players like that our entire team would foul out.

This UCONN vs USC game is exciting!
Both teams leaving it all on the court!
Watching these teams it’s encouraging this season to see that the Lady Vols have the talent to play against these top teams.
There won’t be an ultimate collapse when SEC play starts Tennessee can beat any team in WBB.
A couple things will need to be tweaked with the full-court press.

That’s true. They fought back and both teams competed down to the wire.
I can respect you admitting it wasn’t a pretty game.
I say that because I don’t get why LV fans constantly look for style points in every single game played when in reality these games are going to take grit and competing at a high level night in and night out to win.
It’s still early in the season.

Every loss makes me want to throw a chair at my TV. I’m sure the diehards on here can understand that feeling. I don’t believe in good losses or moral victories.

Strong was in a tough spot at the end of the game. Not saying other freshman (UConn or otherwise) couldn’t have done better — maybe they could have. But from my perspective game should have never come down to that. UConn played like hot garbage in the first half and dug themselves a very deep hole to get out of. Props to Cheli, Strong, and KK who stepped up and played gritty basketball to try and make the comeback happen.

Our other upperclassmen need to wake up though. I had zero expectations for Azzi, tbh, so I can’t even say I’m disappointed in her performance. But the others … step up already!!

Thankfully it’s December and not March. Who even knows how the SCar game will be. I swear the UConn teams since 2020 play so randomly.

I am biased. I think we belong in the top 10. But after ND and USC I don’t think it’s the top 5. Maybe a #7 ranking would be more accurate.

Edit: I’m really impressed by Cheli. She is one player who reminds me of the typical scrappy UConn player. Not necessarily the most talented but plays tough and makes things happen. I need to see her get more playing time so she can get all the freshmen mistakes out of her system.
