If Kentucky can beat Oklahoma in their next game then he may be on his way to COY. If they lose that one with LSU, SC, Texas, and Tennessee to play he and Kentucky have their work cut out for them. Oklahoma would be their second loss and then I suspect they will lose three of that four so 5 SEC losses and they still have Ole Miss to deal with. That loss to Texas A&M set them back some so with their second half schedule still a lot to be determined. Same for Vandy they have to deal with a lot tougher in the second half of the season. So far, Vandy and Kentucky have exceeded the preseason media poll. Vandy was picked to finish 10th but is now tied for 5th place with Ole Miss. Kentucky was picked 8th and is in a 3-way tie for second place with LSU & Texas.
Is Brooks the early favorite for SEC COY? Or should it be Ralph or someone else? Curious what others think about league coaching and expectations moving forward.
