The other night Mashack got elbowed in the jaw playing defense. Originally an offensive foul was called. They went to the monitor, took the offensive foul away and gave Mashack the foul because he was “in the guy’s cylinder.” No the guy went leaping into Mashack and elbowed him. It was ridiculous. So while they were showing this replay tonight I was yelling what about the cylinder !!

I think Texas. We played them a lot closer, and on the road, though we had to shoot lights out to do it. Still, I worry SC is going to come to the SECT on a mission, especially if they lose that coin toss and play with a chip on their shoulders from losing out on the #1 seed for the first time since...?

Being the 7 seed also means we likely have to play a NCAAT team (Mississippi St.) in the 2nd round instead of one of the SEC bottom feeders. That game will not be a gimme, but getting that (extra Q1) win would do more for us keeping that 4-seed in the NCAAs than playing one of the bottom feeders would.

After today, I have no clue. Maybe Texas because they don’t have many scoring threats. We’d just have to contain Booker and box out Jones.

SC is v athletic and deep. Fulwiley, Joyce and McDaniel ate us up off the bench. They’re not losing on Friday.

What do y'all think of the SEC top seed potentially being determined by a coin toss?

It may just be me, but I'm thinking there should be a better way to handle that. I mean, how will the commish determine which coach will call heads or tails? I think there has to be a better way.
