Non-Lady Vol Basketball News 2024-25

You think so? I think she over dribbles like crazy and isn’t a great passer. Their system relies heavily on the pass.

I’ve always thought her passing is fine and the over dribbling often out of necessity. Her high school team isn’t great, and they really need her to score A LOT in order for them to get as far as they have.

Also, how did I not realize her Monterrey coach is Jill Rankin Schneider!?!

Pingeton to Wisconsin guess she likes tough jobs.
Wisconsin hasn't had a winning season in 15 years. Talk about low expectations!
I'm thinking Robin might have had this job in her pocket before she "resigned" from Mizzou. Wisconsin really has nothing to lose with this hire. She's a good coach, always popular with her players. Just probably not the best fit in the SEC.

I agree that she can coach, her teams are always well prepared and have a good game plan. When she had some good teams during the Cunningham era nobody wanted to play them, they were tough.

I did feel her end of game coaching was not great, they were in A lot of games right to the end but just couldn’t finish out 2-3 possessions and would lose in the last minute.

if she can recruit halfway decent she will do much better in the Big 10 than she did the sec. The margin of error is a little wider in that conference.

How dare the #1 recruit in America chose Oklahoma over Connecticut and South Carolina. What's the World coming too? 🤷
A player can decide to go anywhere they want. And as far as I’m aware, she wasn’t even picking from a list that included UConn anyway. I just wonder why LSU, UCLA, and Texas got passed over considering they are “on the rise” compared to Oklahoma.

Good luck to her. I hope she sticks with the Sooners and it works out for her.

Maybe Oklahoma going to revenue share with women's basketball.
Pat Summit promoted the game so it does her memory good that more teams than Unconn - South Carolina Tennessee -LSU don't always get a number one recuit .
Maybe she likes Oklahoma coach.

But they beat SC at home that one time 😂😅
Actually credit to her, SC lost on the road to Mizzou in 2017 & 2022, the same years that they won a national title. I thought it was kinda funny that they could hang their hats that they beat the eventual national champs at their place twice.

LSU/UCLA/SC all dropped out the race apparently she was asking for to much with NIL
