Olivia Miles showed why WNBA GMs ran like hell fm this draft beyond Paige. Miles says she's not sure whether she'll stay or declare. She should stay, otherwise she's bench depth at best.
Also what a spectacular late season crash out for Hannah Hildago. Thought she was easily the NPOY the first half of season but went on a real nosedive late.
Nielle Ivy is now 0-4 in the S16 and this year should have been her best chance. The teams she's lost to, while good, are far from a gauntlet. NC State, Maryland, Oregon St and TCU. Wonder how long before questions start to pop up. Kellie Harper says hold my beer.
Seemed to work so well early than really fell apart. I agree best for the team if Miles moves on and she sure doesn’t need to risk re injury. But her W stock has plummeted.Miles & Hildago both like the ball in their hands and struggled playing together. ND’s offense seemed to click better last year.
For Ivey’s sake, would be best for Miles to move on and allow Hannah to run the show.
Miles is pigeon-toed and I believe that affects her lateral movement.I think Miles will have a hard time seeing the floor, she can barely move her feet on defense, has a hard time navigating screens and looks absolutely lost on defense, she also needs to get stronger. She really needs to hope that 3pt shooting holds up.
The right meds can make all the difference.I am so happy for Van Lith. I misjudged her while she was at Louisville and thought she was an over-rated player who had a bit of an attitude. She just recently came out as having Severe Major Depression for much of her life, including many years in which she was a star on the court but privately fighting chronic suicidal ideation. She said that she is no longer depressed. Her journey is an amazing one that was topped off by her resurgence in basketball. This is the first year she made all American and her game against Notre Dame was brilliant. Kudos to Van Lith. I am now a fan
Agree. Saw one of her games when she was at Louisville, and when they were behind, her Coach kept hollering at her. Not surprised she got very depressed. Glad for her she got away from that. Wouldn’t it be fun if TCU won a National Championship, in large part, because of her.I am so happy for Van Lith.
