Non-Lady Vol Basketball News 2024-25

I’ve watched them some since she’s been coaching. She seems too harp on players endlessly during timeouts. Just seems like a negative culture. I know she’s crazy competitive but it doesn’t seem to be translating well.

Give me a good X’s and O’s Coach who is positive and always teaching over a screamer/in your face type any day. That **** gets old on the players fast.

Agreed. I’m expecting a slug fest and poor shooting like last season. Will be shocked if one team routes the other. I think it’ll be a close game that ends in the 60s

Gotta give Staley credit for scheduling her OOC games this year vs. the current #2,3,4 and 5 teams in the country. That is crazy.

As stacked as her team is... We were gonna talk about her if she didn't that's just facts but she stepped up and her team will be better for it.

Brown-Turner missing some easy shots hope she starts knocking them down. The USC second unit really is better than the starting 5 of lots of teams. It’s scary.

SC shooting 52 percent but 12 turnovers have kept it at least in range for NC State. Still anybody's game as three key starters for NC State have not scored a point Johnson, Cunane, and Crutchfield. They will have to start scoring for NC St to have a chance in this one.

as I said above, it always turns into an ugly dogfight between these two teams….not exactly beautiful basketball…..ugly defensive battles every time.

Five players didn't play for SC they played 10 and expect when they play these top games that will be their rotation. Feagin, Rivers, Grissett, Russell, and Thompson did not play.

Feagin is talented but I just don’t see her beating out who they have on that roster ahead of her. When Dawn brought in Kamila the writing was on the wall for Sania. If this continue, don’t be surprised to see her leave Columbia and head for greener pastures.
