No reason to believe they won't play at home just as well as they played at SC last year. I expect SC to win, but I think it will be a close game. NC St has everyone back that was injured so they have basically the same team as last season.NC State better box out and make shots or this will get ugly quick.
6’3” Edwards 17 points, 5 rebounds
6’5” Nelson-Ododa 8 points, 5 rebounds
6’5” Juhász 15 points, 8 rebounds
19-31 from the field.
Charlie Creme is out with a way too early bracketology and I'm not liking that he says we're playing in Tallahassee and maybe Spokane:
A kind of weird read named some final four teams that I don't think will be there. UConn has a terrific team don't think they have anything on Stanford and SC. Guess we'll see how good NC State is today some people seem to be really high on them. There is always a couple of teams that come out of nowhere to be great. I think it will happen again this season.
Huh? 40 points and 18 rebounds from 2 positions on the floor! The center and forward positions averaged 20 points and 9 rebounds for the game and shot 61.2% from the floor! Dorka is returning from 3 weeks off and only played 15 minutes and scored a point a minute! Add in Ducharme's 10 points and 5 rebounds because she played the 4 when she was out there. I can also throw in Piath's 6 points and 2 rebounds. I know the competition was weak but 56 points 25 rebounds and 12 assists from our center and Power forward. I have to disagree with your assessment of the front court performance.
She was not gonna play a lot she knew it.
Yes, but sadly she had to find that out right before the season due to a last minute coaching change. I doubt she’s the last transfer they have, even before the first of the year. Seemed like she had a good relationship with NMP and wouldn’t have transferred save the coaching change.
I think the Rutgers transfer (Diamond Johnson) will lead the Wolfpack in scoring. They bring back 5 others that averaged double digit points. The Wolfpack are in the hunt.A kind of weird read named some final four teams that I don't think will be there. UConn has a terrific team don't think they have anything on Stanford and SC. They added 17 ppg Diamond Johnson from Rutgers, a dynamic guard that is a handful. Look at her shooting percentages from FT, 2P and 3P.....one of the nation's leaders. No reason to believe they won't play at home just as well as they played at SC last year. I remember going to a game when Coach Stringer was still coaching at Iowa and Jolette Law was a starting guard for her. She had amazing teams back then too. She has put in her dues and earned the right to do whatever she wants to do. She has made a positive impact on many, many, many young women's lives!!I'm embarrassed to admit I don't pray nearly as often as I know I should, but I feel like Coach Stringer has earned some positive vibes from me and will gladly send them out. Love you, CViv!!!!!
Georgia is going to be really good and a tough team to beat this year. I noticed LSU is on as a number 9 seed. They haven't made it to the tournament in a few years. Coach Mulkey getting her some respect.I don't get why Georgia is getting slammed so hard. They are a #10 seed when they bring back all of the key players on their team save Connally, and add to McD AAs. I think they are going to be much better than a lot of the preseason rankings are predicting.
