It's mystifying to me why GA wasn't ranked in the preseason. The team that made the SEC tourney final last year returned pretty much everybody and they added 2 McDonalds All-Americans. I believe they're in the mix to finish second this year in the SEC.

There's always surprises in the SEC. One of the surprise teams could be Arkansas. While they have major deficiencies they have major firepower. If there is one team that could upset SC it's a team that can take the SC's bigs out of the game by shooting lights out from three point land. And they actually addressed one of their weaknesses in the offseason by bringing in some length. So they've gone from a horrid rebounding team to a merely a bad one this year.

Am I misremembering, or did not some people say months ago that the SEC, aside from SC, would be down this season? Seems to me the conference has at least 5 teams that are legitimately capable of reaching at least the Elite 8. SC should reach the Final, and with some luck, one or two other SEC teams actually could end up in the FF. It’s going to be a helluva conference journey.

You are correct and the same one beating his chest about how much better GA is than UT was the same one just crying about how bad the SEC sucks 😂😂👀

Darth, if you are watching all the SEC teams ytd, LSU is gonna be a handful on certain nights for any team, and when KY is on their stride they are no easy game either. SEC might go 8-9 deep in tourney teams, conference is solid this year.

not sure on Mizzou…they haven’t played anyone, purposely so far, but there are at least 6 teams that can play with anyone on a given night and I really believe 8 plus are tourney bound

Someone reminded me once that Ga had more elite athletes in the Atlanta area than the entire state of SC had in total, and they were right, so I never diss a Ga team knowing they draw from such a huge talent base most years.

Did I say I was or was not a TN or UConn fan? Nope, I didn't. I am a WBB fan. You won't see me here trashing or honking on either team, coach or player. Just stating the obvious. I know what it said...that doesn't mean that ANYONE, including coaching or trainers KNEW it was there. The comments implied that they did. That is what I was addressing. Is that ok with you? At least we KNOW what is going on with her, unlike other teams who's players are sidelined with no apparent news from anyone. Secret stuff...Henderson comes to mind as the most recent.

Not just the Atlanta area, Olivia Cochran, Ariyah Copeland, Tatyana Wyatt are all from Columbus, GA.. it’s become a hotbed for recruiting and has always had talent .. if they can start keeping talent in state…..

I said UGA and GT were good, they are. Many teams try to draw from Ga., their talent numbers are elite, Georgia is a hotbed of talent. Always has been. Same for FB, it’s a numbers game, ga wins that in the SE

Plenty of teams that can beat any other team on a given night. Every game has it's own story and NC State center getting in foul trouble early in the first quarter was a major reason that Georgia took the huge lead to halftime. That lead was exactly reversed in the second half when she played. I said were going to see a lot of upsets this season and it is holding true. You better come to play every night against Power five and Big East teams and even some Mid majors.

NCST PG Diamond Johnson should start and so should DUKE PG Shayeann Day-Wilson.

I’m guessing they don’t start because they are newcomers, it may disrupt chemistry or their coaches are looking for offense off the bench.

During Duke vs USC the announcers were practically begging for Day-Wilson to be in the starting lineup.

Any other players out there that should be starting?

I’ll add Sara Puckett to the list.
