I agree that it's great to see that kind of crowd for a WBB game, but remember there's not much else to do in Lincoln, Nebraska in the winter! 😉

Crazy how last week the voters had Indiana leap frog us for beating Maryland a top 10 team then we beat A&M and Ole miss and leap frog them lol. They were wrong the first time , i have no doubt we can beat Indiana as we did last season in bloomington .

Similar with AZ. No way they should be in the top 10. They didn’t play for a month. Then when they return to play they lost to a terrible USC team.

They sat at #4 for weeks when they weren’t playing. That loss only dropped them to #7. They have one quality win but otherwise haven’t played anyone. A loss like that should have dropped them at least 10 spots IMO. Teams can play their way back up winning.

I recall when we were a team dropping in the polls there were times we would win, but not big enough and we would drop.

That was because we really sucked and no one can hide general suckage unless they just don't play. Not even Luigi. If we had COVID at our disposal back then, we could have lasted longer in the polls than we did.

Should actually be a good game. Colorado has kinda had Stanford’s number the last few seasons. They have actually knocked them off a couple times in recent memory.

Enough that it was a talking point before their game last season but Stanford won pretty easily. I think two seasons ago Colorado beat them and it was a huge upset. The Buffs really get up for Stanford.

Edit: looking back they did actually beat Stanford 72-77 in OT at home. Later in the season Stanford had an 8 point victory at home. Has to have given the Buffs some confidence this season bringing back a team that was one of only two blemishes on the champions record.

Stanford had a loss hangover after that game as well and lost to UCLA 66-70 in the very next game. Their only two losses on the season.

I, for one, was shattered for Aliyah Boston -- and I am someone who loves Stanford women's basketball.

Boston's pain in the aftermath of that game really affected me. Still does. Dang.

She sure used that pain to her advantage, though, as she is a better player and healthier woman because of it.

It's not supposed to be funny... it's meant to tell them 1. they were rolling and still ended up losing, 2. keep it humble 3. the reason why this picture resonates is because we have posters continue to remind us EVERY year how untouchable they are and they aren't anyone can be beat at anytime.

PS while i didn't intend it to be funny someone laughed 🥴
