Great perspective NO. I do find it interesting that your posts/thoughts turn to Shea Ralph a lot.
Care to give us your opinion on if Shea is the heir apparent, who else might be considered and when the coronation, I mean replacement, might occur.
Someone is going to complain about this not being in the non-Lady Vol News area. If you respond maybe someone will move it. I don’t know how to do that.

I think the Lady Vols and Vanderbilt are going to go head to head for top players. Vandy is in a launch pad mode and the AD is a former Vandy WBB star. Shea is in the perfect spot for her to succeed. She's offering a Vandy education, top level coaching, brand new state of the art facilities (soon), and the coolest town in the Southeast. I originally thought Shea was on a 5 year audition for the UConn job but now I am not sure. She absolutely loves where she is and what she is doing and she loves her team. (I really enjoy watching them play. They are a true team) I think it will be difficult for anyone to pry her away from Vandy. She and KJH are very much alike. High quality people and coaches from great pedigree programs who are young enough to relate to today's players. Very soon there will be a number of FF's and Championships for the state of Tennessee.

Geno doesn't have a strong coaching tree but there are 2. Albeit it with small programs. Rizotti with Hartford had several good years otherwise up and down. Carla Berube had a lot of success with Tufts but that was in Division II. It's too early to say with Princeton.

Let's say something underhanded went down and she was looking LV now all of sudden she committed to that school.Maybe CKH should play the game they are playing if not get who you can and as a fan deal with it.Ive said it before money or other benefits will win over the class act or integrity coach 99% of the time.in my opinion I think she should get underhanded to get the top players here and if we win nattys we as fan will be happy and not give a dam what she did to get them to TN atleast I won't.all those recruits are not clamoring for uconn we ain't stupid. you want top players at TN play the game they are playing and I fully support my statement even if I'm the only one that think like this.I'm OK being alone.

What is underhanded anymore? If you got the money and the coaches blessing you can probably get a top three or even the top class. I'm sure Tennessee is going to need to start working this in football and maybe men's basketball to some degree. I doubt we'd ever do it with women's basketball even with our past success. I think that would be done more by schools that have nothing else to cheer for except the success of their women's basketball team. If Texas A&M is guaranteeing 50 grand to every lineman what are the WR's, RB's and QB getting. The game is already on in football it will expand to other sports you just need the people willing to support you the boosters that are your fans, have money to burn, don't care about a return, just winning.

The difference is there are only a select amount of schools who would be allowed to do what you're suggesting and get away with it. And only a select amount of coaches as well. ESPN will never truly expose Geno and what he is doing, NCAA will never stop Saban and what many suggest he gets away with on the recruiting trail at Alabama. All programs aren't created equal, prime example how is Will Wade still coaching at LSU?

I would like to see an absolute moratorium, on other wcbb team's activities, from every thread, except the non LV thread.
There's a place for these discussions, but they don't belong in LV threads, or threads of their own, on a LV forum.
Is it possible to clean this forum up ?

I'm sure you're not alone, but I hope it's a minority. Why don't you put it up as a poll? Could be interesting.

I know I could not maintain my interest or support if we went that route. It's not that I would be trying to make a statement. It's just not a healthy thing for students, schools, or programs to do this, and it's the benefits of sports competition to young people that I support.

I totally agree. That is why I created this thread to begin with. I watch a ton of other games throughout the year and always felt I was posting in the “wrong threads” when discussing them as they related to the lady vols.

The discussions in this thread are fun when other top teams are playing. It’s great to go back and forth with other people who love basketball.

It was never really intended to be a dumping ground for other teams to come here and throw their shade.

The posts in the recruiting threads are the only ones that really chap me. I suspect some of those posters only post there because they know how much all of us Lady Vol fans despise it. I do believe parents and recruits look at this board and I fully believed the recruiting threads should be more closely monitored.

I’m sure freak is annoyed with me because I have been reporting every post BBallNut makes in the recruiting threads. It’s gotta stop though. He doesn’t care about the recruiting for either school. He only cares about trolling and messing up the treads and pissing everyone off.

If women’s basketball wants to do itself a huge favor I would recommend the conferences and NCAA create a streaming service where ALL of the games are available.

I don’t understand why this hasn’t happened already. It’s extremely frustrating trying to keep up with 5 subscriptions to get all the games I want to see.

Was really wanting to watch Baylor/OU but all OU games are now through Bally Sports and only available on local fox channels. A game like that should be available to a wider viewing audience!
