I wonder how much "love" these coaches really have for UConn and or Geno. Could it be colored green??

It's funny because I have the exact opposite thought as Geno: kids these days are playing in highly competitive leagues starting in middle school, and the overall talent of the young women coming into college has increased drastically since the days of Taurasi and even Parker. It's called parity, Geno!

Great perspective NO. I do find it interesting that your posts/thoughts turn to Shea Ralph a lot.
Care to give us your opinion on if Shea is the heir apparent, who else might be considered and when the coronation, I mean replacement, might occur.
Someone is going to complain about this not being in the non-Lady Vol News area. If you respond maybe someone will move it. I don’t know how to do that.

I think the Lady Vols and Vanderbilt are going to go head to head for top players. Vandy is in a launch pad mode and the AD is a former Vandy WBB star. Shea is in the perfect spot for her to succeed. She's offering a Vandy education, top level coaching, brand new state of the art facilities (soon), and the coolest town in the Southeast. I originally thought Shea was on a 5 year audition for the UConn job but now I am not sure. She absolutely loves where she is and what she is doing and she loves her team. (I really enjoy watching them play. They are a true team) I think it will be difficult for anyone to pry her away from Vandy. She and KJH are very much alike. High quality people and coaches from great pedigree programs who are young enough to relate to today's players. Very soon there will be a number of FF's and Championships for the state of Tennessee.

Wouldn’t doubt it one bit. Not at all. Especially with NIL. He was barely above board before. Now it’s a free for all for people with low ethics like Geno.

I think the Lady Vols and Vanderbilt are going to go head to head for top players. Vandy is in a launch pad mode and the AD is a former Vandy WBB star. Shea is in the perfect spot for her to succeed. She's offering a Vandy education, top level coaching, brand new state of the art facilities (soon), and the coolest town in the Southeast. I originally thought Shea was on a 5 year audition for the UConn job but now I am not sure. She absolutely loves where she is and what she is doing and she loves her team. (I really enjoy watching them play. They are a true team) I think it will be difficult for anyone to pry her away from Vandy. She and KJH are very much alike. High quality people and coaches from great pedigree programs who are young enough to relate to today's players. Very soon there will be a number of FF's and Championships for the state of Tennessee.

Final 8 is great, but that doesn't mean much until it starts translating to some commits.

Heh, how the hell can you simultaneously say that the "next-level kids down" are better than they've ever been, but the top ones somehow "aren't as good." What does that matter, if you're the one doing the recruiting. Is ... this just some whining? A little bit of whining from a dude who can hand pick any five star recruit he wants, every year? Having a little buyer's remorse, are we?
