This I don't understand as UConn is rolling out seven five star players and two sitting on the bench DeBerry and Piath cannot even get in the game. So who has nine five star players? Are they all overrated or exactly why do UConn fans keep putting them down like they are three stars weaklings. Williams number one in class, Ono number three, Westbrooks number two, Ducharme top ten, Muhl highly rated player, the Ohio State transfer top foreign player, DeBerry top 15. I know their worse loss to this point is to Ga Tech. Oregon is a different team than early in the season, SC has better talent. Louisville has good talent as well. The only other game I thought they could've lost was at DePaul if that game had been played. I think they have a certain loss coming up at SC and we'll see how it goes from there. I also disagree that several Big East teams could beat them. The only ones I see that could would be DePaul or Creighton on their court and maybe Villanova if everything went great.
Yep, when the computer spits out the suggested seeding, the ranking when they played is what counts. But people add their takes on the seeding and i would bet that the overall body of work will matter. Not the way it works when you play a team that is ranked it counts as beating a ranked team no matter what happens to them for the rest of the season. Ranking doesn't matter that much anyway it is the teams wins and losses and I think Kentucky will still be or at least close to a 20 win team.
Sounds about right to me which is about an average team and we'll be fine since we beat them by 26 points.Yep, when the computer spits out the suggested seeding, the ranking when they played is what counts. They have 10 games left in the regular season. I can see a 7-3 finish heading into the SEC tournament.
15-9 and a 8-6 SEC record with three games to be made up. 2-1 in those? 16-11 and 10-7 in the SEC is my prediction.
What do you think it will be?
I didn't realize that UK also lost Robyn Benton in the 2nd quarter of the loss to Florida. They were pretty undermanned all night and the only guard they had off the bench was Emma King...which isn't saying much.come on that makes too much sense in reality FL was ranked with all their players when we beat them. Our Center WENT OUT And we still won.
KY is struggling yes but i still think they make the tourney. Regardless, i am happy for the top 25 win
I wonder if she regrets leaving Maryland for Kentucky at least at Maryland she might be used as more than just setting screens and reboundingI didn't realize that UK also lost Robyn Benton in the 2nd quarter of the loss to Florida. I'm sure Olivia Owens is a lovely girl, but she's useless as a 6'4 basketball player.

Well...she doesn't even do those two things right. Every UK game I've seen this year, they are better off without her on the court. Maybe she's a good mentor or something, but her basketball skills add little/no value to the team on the court itself.I wonder if she regrets leaving Maryland for Kentucky at least at Maryland she might be used as more than just setting screens and rebounding
I'd disagree with that statement having watched her play in person several times, she does several things well but she isn't being utilized to her strengths as we have seen constantly with Elzy at the helm. Treasure is a non factor, Massengil was far better here than she is there, Rhyne isn't the Rhyne she was under Matthew that she is under Elzy. Benton has taken a step back as well. We will look back (I already feel that way) and see that Elzy is far better an assistant than she ever was a head coach. A 5 star recruit just all of the sudden don't know how to play the game.Well...she doesn't even do those two things right.
