Hannah Sjerven and Watson are excellent defensively on the interior. Watson is undersized but she gave Smith a fit today.

That would be something….would mean if we win we would be meeting a 9 seed in the Sweet 16 with a possibility of facing a 10 seed in the Elite Eight if South Dakota wins again.

That’s obviously looking too far ahead, but how crazy would that be to get to the Final Four playing a 14, 12, 9, and 10 seed? Lol

It makes the game worth watching when these smaller schools can compete, and it is fun watching teams like Princeton and SD etc play, it’s why the Women’s game is so enjoyable, fundamentals can be taught at any level and there is always a chance a well schooled team can compete against a Goliath

VA, the Louisville team does get in your face, they play defense 24/7, and run the fast break constantly, I guess that’s why they are so highly seeded, but they can be beat as Miami showed.
