Not saying it isn't possible. But her AAU team was nike as well and then she signed with Nike. I just wouldn't be surprised at all if she goes to a Nike school and we know there are plenty of those out west. I'm sure Nike will do everything possible to get to be able to market her as much as possible as well.

Nothing wrong with Under Armor but if you have someone you can market through college and the pros might want to keep it in the brand.

Nope it's not.

The ballout is strict on their sharing rules and i know they visit this sight and see what's going on. I dropped a knowledge nugget a while back (which was true) and i got an email from them seeing it on here 🙃

I gave some thought to it possibly being Madison Booker, mainly because that site broke the news that Texas was her leader a few weeks ago, and then she committed. So, figured they might have an inside connection to her situation.

But, on her Instagram page within the last 24-48 hours, she added a photo of herself in a Texas uniform as her profile photo. So, hoping that's a sign that she's firmly committed.

Any word on why Vic didn't continue with the long standing UT vs UT game ? Seems like it would have been on the books as it had been a staple game year in and year out for awhile.

Was it Rickea choosing to go here instead of Texas? I hope it works out she seems him in the championship game in the Bahamas as i look forward to the "who's the real UT" yearly game 😃

He is still rebuilding and wants to win and build confidence. Playing Tennessee will not help those two goals this year IMO.

All jokes aside you would think if he wanted to take the next step passed the elite 8... well he knows what's best for his team and hopefully they meet in the championship game 😃

I'm sure he will love to see Rickea 😏

They wrote about Velez when she committed, ADR, had some recruits coming here before others knew they were visiting and for the LVs had getting Rickea and Jillian before it was announced (even had jillian canceling her visit with her old coach Joni Taylor).

If the kid they said does decommit i wouldn't be surprised. If they got talked into staying by the staff i wouldn't be surprised either.

The NIL deals they mention and their values would definite have an impact on where some of these recruits are going because people are putting up 6 figure number packages to help land these recruits.

Considering it was Texas' turn to host the annual game this year, and Texas opening a brand new arena, I don't think it was Vic's preference for the series not to continue. Would have been Texas' marquee home game of the season if the Lady Vols' were coming to Austin.

Some of us Texas fans wondered if Tennessee didn't like it when the game in Austin two seasons ago was cancelled last minute due to COVID protocols, while Tennessee was already in Austin. Perhaps that caused some friction on Tennessee's side.

Anything is possible. But, this series has been going on since the late 1980's. If it was going to be renewed (as it had all these decades), it would have been done way before Rickea announced her transfer destination.

We added games late to the schedule this year so we had open spots...

It is what it is. They have a chance to play if they both do what they are supposed to do. Luckily our schedule was still challenging without them. They no doubt would add to our SOS
