Creighton (9-4) still in the top 25 over Illinois ?

I'd still keep Creighton in. They have solid road wins over South Dakota State, Villanova (a blowout), and DePaul, and they blew out Nebraska at home. Their losses to Stanford, Arkansas, and UConn aren't bad, and their other loss is to St. John's, who is undefeated (TBD how good they really are).

Illinois played a cupcake-heavy schedule, with their best win before beating Iowa being on the road against Missouri. They have a close loss to Indiana but a very bad loss to Delaware (150 in the NET and 182 in RPI).

Neither do I. Arizona should not be ranked. They have played one quality team in Kansas who beat Arizona by 27 on their own floor.

They did beat Baylor when they were ranked #18 but that’s another story as well. Blackwell only played a couple minutes in that game. They also should not be ranked. Baylor is not very good and without Blackwell I’d say they are even below average.

I'd probably still have them ranked but I hear you. Their next 4 games will show a lot, at home vs. Oregon State and Oregon, and on the road at Colorado and Utah.

Speaking of Colorado, they're actually slowly working their way up the NET and they're one spot away (currently #31) from becoming a Q1 win for us.

I`m watching the Stanford Arizona game. Arizona is getting hammered on the offensive glass at half,10 for Stanford. Arizona just can`t make shots and getting nothing from there bench.

Have not seen a lot of Colorado just the game against TN

Georgia really battling. Their 2-3 zone and physicality is really bothering SC.

Smith showing everyone how it’s done when you’re outsized. She is making her move on the catch and knocking them down. That’s old school post ball.

SC bench is yelling for a travel but it’s not. She can take two steps and leap as long as she shoots it. Just like a layup but of the fadeaway variety lol

This why you need to make your layups SC 5 of 11

Also, can we talk about the improvement in UGA already? They are flat tough on defense. Coach Abe just packed that up and brought it with her. Lewis, Battles and Smith knew how to do it and have brought the others along. In the last week or two they have really started to get it. Since their loss at NC State they have not allowed a team more than 60 points.

Gonna be a tough team for anyone in the SEC this season.

What I love about SC’s offense is their patience. They pass around the perimeter calmly looking for an open post. Their weakness is their hesitancy to shoot on the perimeter which allows teams to sag in the post. I could see them winning it all, but a bad shooting day coupled with tough D could end their title hopes.

Yep, their PG play is ?? for me as well. They have all played well off and on but nobody has stepped up and really taken that role.

If they want to win a natty Johnson is going to have to assume that role down the stretch.

Oh, man! I can't believe I forgot to watch this game. Has the first half been good or informative enough to bother going back to watch it later?

SC up 47-40 heading into 4Q. The game is over because UGA’s Battles isn’t confident shooting for whatever reason. UGA just doesn’t have the offense to keep up.

50-42... these GA undersized posts are proving you can be physical and hang with them. I think it will be the same with LSUs posts

You think LSU has the best chance of beating SC? I’m trying to think of which team in or out of conference can knock them off. So far only teams that come to mind are Stanford & UCONN.

I honestly think LSU beats them.

I agree. LSU is the only team that matches up well. They start Williams and Reese so have the bigs to contend with Boston and Cardoso.

I don’t think SC bigs can guard Reese without fouling her. She does a lot of her work on the move and is just hard to guard. Not unlike Rickea.
