Dawn should be ripping her she is doing to much dribbling and not playing any defense. The UConn 3 point shooting is the difference. UConn has 31 pts off 3`s

She's useless on offense and then lets Dangerfield go off for 19 pts, 4 assts and 0 tos IN A HALF!

I used to be a fan of Harris, but she deserves every bit of scorn for being this unprepared for a regional final. She has been a complete, embarrassment for SC, and has been a big part of UConn getting off to such a big lead despite strong play from Jennings and Wilson. If I were them, I'd take turns slapping her until its time to come out for the 2nd half.

USCe trying to take the air out of the ball, minimize UConn scoring. Working as well for Dawn & Co. as it did for Quinnipiac. UConn defense is as much of a difference as the 3 pt. shooting.

I don’t recall reading all of the critiques but I will guarantee you this. Westbrook would probably be having a different season if she were playing for UConn. Teaching, discipline, and coaching matter.

Yes, except they are ridiculous from deep tonight. If SC had guards that weren't afraid to shoot because they are a bunch of bricklayers, it would be closer. Jennings and Wilson have been unstoppable, but they are getting no help otherwise. I have to say that they move the ball extraordinarily well.

If UConn shoots 65% from deep I don't see how they could lose.

One very good team on the court tonight. The other team is barely above average. South Carolina players could've started crying at halftime because the game was over.

Sad to see A'ja Wilson's career end this way. She did her part, but her teammates aside from Jennings really let her down tonight.

That is the key to their winning because they got 6 players who score double digits

They got 23 assists because they can shoot. A lot of those were jump shots, not layups.

One thing I noticed is how quickly they pass the ball. Sometimes, the ball is passed 4 times before it touches the floor. They are very deliberate and constantly in motion. SC didn't make them play defense for half the shot clock bescause they were all just standing around, except for A'ja and Alexis.
I get wanting to slow the game, but UConn still scored 90+ points.

This was just a well executed game all around.

Dangerfield 5 of 5 from the three look how much she has improved her game amazing how players get so much better and become all around players at UConn.
Another bashing of SC by UConn and I suspect will see the same for any of the other schools left.

You simply cannot run through the wall or a dam on the bridge. Dawn was as stubborn as Holly. Even without the many turnovers, her team will not beat a good 3-pointer shooting UCONN.

You cannot beat UConn unless you have 5 legit basketball players you can rely on to play 30+ minutes per game. ND, Louisville, MSST, and Oregon all do.

SC has too many incomplete players that are liabilities more often than not.

Watching Oregon and ND and both teams actually run an offense and set screens. Are you watching Holly and staff.

Also people on here dogging SC in the UCONN game. How do you think it would have been if we played them - about the same or worse?

Worse, because UConn would be even more fired up to play and Tennessee has the same problems as SC: too many players just willing to dial it in. Aside from Jennings and Wilson, none of the other SC players save maybe Grissett came ready to play.
