North Korea: We Are At War With US

And again, that is half of the story... The other half is that this was in response to the US and South Koreans holding similar drills at the end of last month.

South Korea, US conduct week-long firing drills near North Korea border

South Korean and U.S. troops have conducted joint combat firing drills near the border with North Korea involving heavy weapons, as Pyongyang lambasted the allies for dangerous moves pushing the region to the brink of "an inferno of nuclear war."

The exercise by a South Korean Army mechanised infantry brigade and U.S. Army armoured Stryker brigade was to test and enhance combat readiness simulating enemy aggression, South Korea said in a statement on Thursday.

The drills took place over a week starting on Dec. 29 and ended on Thursday, the South Korean Army said.

You’re right, unless the information comes out of Russia or China it’s not trustworthy.
How about looking at the info presented and making a common sense determination? You clearly see based on what I posted that the mainstream media is only telling one side of the story.

So when the US and South Korea run military exercises over the past week, it's all good. But when North Korea does the same days later, now that becomes a provocation.

You guys are just so biased that you are unable and unwilling to see both sides.

even the article you posted just said SK and the US were "near" the border, but meanwhile the NK fired around an island with civilians on it.

neither article pinpointed, but I doubt the SK and US were doing military drills on an island that isn't even 4 square miles.

Did North Korea fire live rounds into South Korea this week? If not your question is dumb.
Bwahaha... I guess not. WOW, she is talking a lot of smack.

Misjudgment, speculation, deterrence, and misjudgment will bring irreparable anger upon oneself

Statement by Kim Yo Jong, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea

What kind of ugliness does it lead to when you get excited by hostility and confrontation madness?

The South Korean military thugs showed a vivid scene of this in actual action.

On 6 June, the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Republic of Korea announced that the ROK conducted artillery firing in the Southwest Sea over two consecutive days on the 5th and 6th.

The military thugs allegedly fired more than 60 artillery rounds from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the 6th in the northwest of Yeonpyeong Island, and the shells landed in the maritime buffer zone north of the "Northern Limit Line" in the West Sea.

He said that the artillery firing in the prohibition zone is an act that threatens peace on the Korean peninsula and heightens tensions, and that it is a stern warning and strongly demands that it be stopped immediately, and that if the North threatens its people with continuous artillery firing in the prohibited zone of hostilities, the military will take appropriate military measures, and that it will respond overwhelmingly in accordance with the principle of "immediately, strongly, to the end."

The South Korean media are busy filling the pages and screens with this announcement by the military thugs all at once.

I don't need to say more about how surprised the people of the Republic of Korea must be.
At this point, it seems that our military will have no choice but to become a "provocateur" and "the main culprit of the escalation of the situation."

But at all in doubt, our troops did not launch a single shell into the waters.

The South Korean military thugs took the bait we threw at them
.

At the end of every word, they carried out a deception operation to embarrass those who were going to make an obvious deterrent claim by floating up the actual detection capabilities of the ROK military thugs, who are bravado and skillful by saying "close tracking and surveillance" and "homing strike".

The ROK military detonated 60 blasting explosives simulating the firing of 130mm coastal guns and watched the reaction of the ROK military thugs.

The results were exactly what we expected.

They misjudged the sound of explosives exploding as gunfire, speculated that it was a provocation of artillery fire, and shamelessly falsely falsely that the bomb fell in the maritime buffer zone north of the "Northern Limit Line" in the West Sea.

In fact, the ridiculous behavior of these uniformed clowns is not new today.

In the past, when a flock of birds appeared in the West Sea, they mistook it for our plane and scrambled fighter jets, and it was none other than the ROK military thugs who put a latrine in Yasan and wrote the slogan "North Korean drone that invaded the South."

Since they were a group of thugs with such a track record, they had no choice but to swallow the bait we threw at them without even chewing on it.

I can't help but feel sorry for the people of the Republic of Korea, who are entrusting "security" to such blind people and dedicating their enormous blood and blood to them.

In that case, it is ten times better to entrust "security" to a dog with a developed sense of hearing and smell.

If an unexpected incident occurs due to the misjudgment, speculation, deterrence, and miscalculation of such ignorant military thugs, think about what kind of danger Seoul, which is crowded with more than 10 million people, will be exposed to.

The coward said he was surprised to see his shadow.

Even if thunder rumbles in the northern sky in the future, it is impossible to know what kind of foolish miscalculation they will make by the artillery fire of our army.

Once again, let me make it clear: the trigger of our military has already been lifted.

As we have already declared, if there is even the slightest provocation, our army will immediately launch a baptism of fire.

It should be borne in mind that the words "immediate, forcefully, and to the end", which are the usual countermeasures that military thugs have been talking about in recent years, may become "instant death, forced death, and the end" if they continue to do so.

Misjudgment, speculation, deterrence, and misjudgment will bring irreparable anger upon oneself.

what? She is all types of inconsistent.

"The ROK military detonated 60 blasting explosives simulating the firing of 130mm coastal guns and watched the reaction of the ROK military thugs.

The results were exactly what we expected."

She is saying, or the google translate is saying, here that the South Koreans (ROK) used decoy explosives to confuse the South Koreans (ROK) just as "we" the North Koreans expected the ROK to react to the ROK? How did "we" know what the ROK was going to do, to thus know how they were going to react?

if she actually meant the NK used decoy explosives to fool the SK and the SK reacted as the NK expected. and "they", apparently the SK, undertook a deceptive operation is using those decoy rounds, but she is here claiming it as some smart ploy by the NKs?

doesn't help that she uses quotes from a SK who used the phrase "military thugs" referring to NK; but on the same hand laid the blame at the hands of SK "military thugs" while also saying that NK would accept the role of provacteur, which makes it sound like this was all NK.

also apparently she, or again google translate, has some other issues with speaking in a coherent manner, like repeating herself. "blood and blood" "misjudgement and misjudgement"

really comes across as the typical dictator double-speak. says a lot without saying anything, confuses the subject matter around so those reading/listening don't fully comprehend what they are being told, not that they are supposed to understand, just to get the general feeling of someone did something bad to them.

N.K. leader says he has 'no intention of avoiding war' with S. Korea

"Predicating that the ROK clan is our principal enemy, he said what the DPRK should prioritize in the relations with the hostile state" is "to bolster up the military capabilities for self-defense and the nuclear war deterrent first of all," the KCNA said, using the acronyms for the official names of the South and the North.

Kim said he will not start a war unilaterally but has "no intention of avoiding a war as well."

Should the South attempt to "use armed forces against the DPRK or threaten its sovereignty and security and such opportunity comes, we will have no hesitation in annihilating the ROK by mobilizing all means and forces in our hands," Kim was quoted as saying.

North Korea touts ‘underwater nuclear weapons system’, blasts US drills

North Korea has tested a nuclear-capable underwater attack drone in response to joint naval exercises involving South Korea, the United States and Japan, state media say.

Pyongyang tested the Haeil-5-23 in waters off the east coast as the US and its allies were “seriously threatening the security” of the country and “destabilising the regional situation”, North Korea’s Ministry of Defence said in a statement carried by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) on Friday.

North Korea is far more provocative than South Korea--far more--and is constantly shooting missiles into the sea close to South Korea,
and has been doing so for years. Your alarm is completely misplaced--what a surprise.
