All kinds of questions - who coaches; what to do about upperclass team leaders who were part of the old perverted system; how do you combine one win and a scandal like that and come away with any kind of self respect; how many players simply walk away.Going to be interesting to see who they hire this late. Probably promote an assistant which begs the question how do you fire the coach but promote an assistant that was there at the same time the incident(s) occurred.

Maybe, but they're a lot better than they used to be. From 1978 to 1981, they were 0-35-1 in the Big Ten. They were 0-11 in both 1980 and 1981. In 1981, they were shut out 5 times in 11 games, while averaging 7 points on the season ... and that was with a pretty good coach in Dennis Green - who was able to win at Stanford later on.Northwestern is probably the toughest P5 job in college football.
