because he is not as good as advertised.. end of story

these comments about being in summer work outs etc. are wrong.. RB is not a position that you need time to learn a system.. if your the fastest guy on the field, your going to get the ball and make plays...

Really? Rajion Neal is the fastest player at UT. I don't see him doing alot.

Tell Lincoln to kick the ball higher than 6 ft in the air. There is no excuse for Terrence Cody fat*** blocking your kick.

Not defending Lincoln... j/s seems like Cody took out more than a ball on those plays. And, it's not like he was an unknown guy who just showed up to block kicks. But, I could have missed the number on the kid's back as it was hard to make out during a backwards roll. :hi:

BB is better than Poole. So what? We've got Poole.

From what I've heard, BB busted his tail while at UT... until CDD showed up and CLK left.

His dad gets the wrap for his decision, but a good PR would find an girl in Kansas so football fans could relate to his choice better.

This is really not an argument since Poole has a 1,000 yd season in the SEC...Brown has nothing...so where's your point?

3 carries in the first game isn't much of an opportunity.

BB is a talented player with a very screwed up home life. If you think he wouldn't have gotten a lot of carries here last year or this year, I don't know what to tell you.

The Kstate coach pushed him to become the number 1 back in practices. He even said not one runningback is playing better than the other. No one is standing out.

Ive never said that, for all i know he could of became UT's leading rusher, but im not convinced from his freshmen year or what he is doing now. He definitely would have a fair shot at Poole's spot and would get a good amount of carries.

Yea, sorry guys, but it is... Just curious, after watching part of the U KSU game why BB would decide to go to KSU and be buried on the depth chart. We sure could use him at UT this season and he would have had a better/earlier shot at the pros if he stayed. What gives?

His brother was a linebacker at Miami and Bryce chose to go to U.T. It seems that their father, somehow, got them both to transfer to K.S.U. I suppose that he wanted them close to their Kansas home, so he could watch them ride the bench.

He is not an unknown guy, but he is not a speedster or a quick guy who should ever block a field goal. Especially from jumping.

Adrian Peterson doesn't have a 1k season in the SEC either, but I can tell the difference between AP and TP.

That's my point.

He's better than Oku and he looked a lot more
impressive as a freshman here than Neal.

What he does at KSU after being told he had to come home against his wishes does not matter to me.

He didn't just jump... he penetrated the line... with limited opposition from what I recall. Still... I'm not defending Lincoln just recalling the stars of recent OLines... :hi:

Im not defending the Sullins brothers either, they werent good, but they at least were redshirted seniors who worked out and got stong for 5 years and got to work behind other players. Lincoln always kicked it extremely low

I can too...but Bryce Brown is and was OVERHYPED. He's not as good as either of these guys. Comparing either of these two guys to Adrian Peterson...come on dude...keep it real.

He is definitely better than Brown, and I dont believe Neal is a pure runningback. I think he is a situational back.

Me either, my argument was that you can't say for certain he would start over Poole...

True... AP was a bit of hyperbole... :eek:lol:

I hope Poole becomes the next AP... don't get me wrong. Just trying to keep it real versus BB. Would love to have had both of them... being a greedy Vols fan and all.

Why do so many people think that Poole getting a 1000 yards is some kind of incredible feat. He was the only back we had so he got virtually every single carry. Poole had 6 games that he failed to get 60 yards in and failed to get 50 yards in 5 games.

Maybe because once Bray started, our offense became extremely pass happy..

Ouch... you just ramped this one up a notch. So, you probably noticed our QB padded his numbers a bit on some of those weak opponents last year as well. Not to be throwing stones at our squad... just saying... the devil is in the detail and after Buffalo, we've got some Devils coming.

Don't think anyone is pushing him for Heisman here...he is adequate and nothing else. Don't think anybody including myself are implying anything different. He is, imo, until proven differently, a better college running back that Bryce Brown.

I don't dislike the kid and certainly wish him the best, but I believe he only played at UT as a freshman b/c it was part of the deal...not because he was ready. He did nothing to impress me his freshman yr. He looked capable against weaker talent, but was not the difference maker we thought he would be. Talented kid but just not the number 1 recruit in the nation, imo!

That's fair.
Think he still might have been better then Poole though.
Lane should come on strong by the end year and give Poole a real push.

I'm thinking Lane is the guy over the long term as well. That kid is a pretty darn impressive athlete.

Think Lane will definitely push Poole...has the tools, no doubt!
