Well, I mean it has been a long time since Bama has been able to say they are a better team than UT... Im just tryin to make light of the fact that at the Beginning of the season if you would have told me that Bama would be 8-0 and UT 3-4 I wouldnt believe you..... esp if Bama beats MSU and UT loses to ND 9-0 3-5..... I wouldnt believe anyone who said that... I do think that Bama's win over UT this year will help calm the storm and hatred at UT.... the Hatred is at your Coach so his Mike Dubose like season is amusing....

No, two little girls playing tiddlywinks in the backyard is just a game.

You *%#% right!! For people in the South , especially of Celtic blood, football is much more than a game It is a religion (unfortunately) and an extension of our manhood. We don't have rival tribes to raid so the game is a substitute.

I don't want PF gone, but I do think that we need to make some coaching changes within the system to maybe shake some things up, and get everybody revitalized. Just like hiring Trooper last year seemed to get our stagnant running game back to life.

Well, our running game is worse than it was last year. We've lost 3 fumbles (runners) inside the 5 in the last 2 games.

I love Trooper's enthusiasm but I'm don't see evidence that he's improved things very much.

All you fairweathers that have showed up just because the season has been a disappointment can go somewhere else.  This is a Vol FAN board, not a fire Fulmer board.  FANS belong here.

Gosh, does this bring back the 60s to me.

"America, Love It Or Leave It"

Nixon: "True Americans do not criticize their government abusing the free speech we allow them"

When the expressions of opinions, be they controversial, are adjudicated as nonsupportive, then the day that becomes the true Vol mantra, I am no longer wished to be asociated as a Vol fan.

The reality is that, over time, Phil and the Vol Nation has supported opinions, discord, and we are better and stronger for it.

I feel sorry for you and your ilk, you consummate freaks attempting control. You always end up looking like the fools that you are.

But over the past few years there has been minor evidence that RS could get the job done.  '01 and '04 should have made you go "maybe this guy can coach..."  I'm sure that's where CPF has been over this time.  The point is, we keep games close, and let the game hang on 2-3 plays, sometimes you get what you got last year, other times you get this year.

I understand saying it should have never been to that point, with the quality of Defense here, etc. we should be able to blow out many of the opponents we have perennially been squeaking by.  It comes down to, I don't want to have to sit and watch 3-4 years of bad football beacuse we went crazy and fired our head coach.  I think if we fire the real problems in the offensive staff, then we'll be contending again as soon as next season.  I honestly believe that.

I agree with you rwemyss.
