Our play calling is suspect. The real match up was our running backs (or tight ends) against the NC State linebackers; we failed to exploit this advantage. We should have beat this team by 3 touchdowns.

Initially, I thought that we would have 10 wins this season; now, I say that we will be lucky to win 8.

We have the players, we just don't have the ability to exploit opportunities...and that is coaching.

It's our first game. Lots of new players. CP's confidence will be through the roof. Defense became dominant in the second half. Lots to be excited about this year. Team looks aggressive as ****.

when over 500 yards of offense is not enough. lol


the only problem we had was scoring touchdowns in the redzone...we do that, and we do win by 3-4 touchdowns

I mean it'd be so stupid to argue. There was rust. Its the first game. Everyone has that. Ask South Carolina. But I was impressed big time with a lot of things. We beat a GOOD team by 14.

Well damn we only won by 2 touchdowns instead of 3? Guess we should hang up the season. Fire Dooley

Your cup half empty brotha? We can clean most of this up. Players were engaged and showed some poise. Openers are like this sometimes. Much easier to perform a post mortem on a win!

Uh....we beat them by 2 touchdowns. Bray fumbled what would have been the 3rd touchdown and JH dropped two other touchdowns. It was more of a blowout than the score showed, and I'm not saying that to diss NCSt...but it could have easily been a 5 TD win.

Really? Look the team did what they were supposed to do. They beat a middle of the road ACC team and was clearly a much better team. Were they perfect? No but we should be fine with this win.
